@apc467 interesting... i'm not sure if Dangermouse's style really fits with the shins. Dangermouse is all about sounds and an overall lo-fi feel to his works, the shins have a very melodic, acousticy folk sound to it. When Mercer and Dangermouse began working together for bellz, I doubt Mercer came in thinking "I want this to sound like the shins" because the result would have sounded something like Beck's Sea Change, which is a fusion of lo-fi and folk. But yeah, sparklehorse rules!!!
