  • TAMASABURO IS MARAVILHOSO. I AM BRAZILIAN DANCER.THAnks to your art in my heart. arigato

  • the girl misunderstood Mei Lan Fang inspired DIRECTLY Tamasaburo. Actually not. He was trying to study the original Chinese version of "Peony Lanterns" (Botan Dourou) - a Kabuki play adapted from "Peony Pavillion" (Mudan Ting). Tamasaburo changed his mind when he encountered the Kun Opera "Peony Pavillion" directed by ZHANG Jiqing, who suggested him to perform the play in the original language, instead of creating a Japanese translation. He is sensitive enough to take up original Suzhounese.

  • Tamasaburo may have found that the young female interpreter didn't have sufficient knowledge of performing arts to understand what he was really talking about, around 7:00. The girl misunderstood Tamasaburo was inspired by "the" grand master, MEI Lan Fang. Actually what he was saying was that he noticed the differences between Beijing Opera and Kun Opera. He wanted to adapt this Kun opera play in Japanese.
