You have some very good points however the majority of them stem from the fact that "A muslim keeping it real" is a very weak defense of Islam. As you said, it is scary when you're faced with a guy trying to get a ticket to heaven, and yes, in Islam it is possible to get into heaven via jihad however, there are strict rules for this. 90% of these suicide bombings don't follow these rules.

You have some very good points however the majority of them stem from the fact that "A muslim keeping it real" is a very weak defense of Islam. As you said, it is scary when you're faced with a guy trying to get a ticket to heaven, and yes, in Islam it is possible to get into heaven via jihad however, there are strict rules for this. 90% of these suicide bombings don't follow these rules.

Every statement like this, I welcome. Thank you. Gandhi, I think, is an interesting example, as his people were just as oppressed as the Palestinians, and yet he advocated non-violent resistance, and his CAUSE WON THE DAY. It's time Islamists took a leaf out of his book and put their semtex away.

Crusaders were land-grabbers, not genuine Christian missionaries. If they were, they would have put down their swords. The Trinity upholds the 10 Commandments, especially the first four (one God, no idols, keep God's name holy, keep God's day holy).

It is simple to explain why the Catholics delete the second commandment- they like statues. There is no difficulty in interpreting the seventh commandment- it has always referred to murder, not any form of killing. The KJV translated it "Thou shalt not kill" which was a little unhelpful.

Thats not true have you ever been to a mosque or talked to islamic groups, there is a spectrum of opinion just as there is a spectrum of opinion in Britain or the Labour, Islam isn't centralised like the church of England or Catholic Church. I spent time in Leicester visited mosques got to know muslims some were religious some weren't, but i never heard any Imam do anything but condemn violence.

Assuming there were a MILLION taliban out there (there aren't), it's still less that ONE in a THOUSAND muslims. How come they are allowed to be the face of the rest 999 and more - the middle class average Muslim? What draws people like Cat Stevens, the late russian spy Litvienko.. Cassius Clay..and others into this "Terrorist, Violent Religion?". I found peace in Islam - and protest this hypocrisy.

Hitler never killed in the name of Christianity. He killed in the name of the Third Reich, National Socialism and Adolf Hitler. No Christian in the universe (except brainwashed Nazis during WW2)has ever accepted Hitler as a representative of Christianity, but thousands of Muslims see Wahabism as true Islam.

You are quick to point out that IRA and the Nazis were not Christians cuz they reject Christian beliefs - and are thus not "Christian Terrorists". Nor are the Israeli attackers "Jewish Terrorists". I personally oppose such tags too.. cuz all religions preach peace. More so Islam - the very meaning of which is Submission /Peace. I do not accept that Islam really does teach peace. If people leave Islam, they are threatened with death for apostasy in any country where Islam is dominate. All dedicated Muslims want universal sharia law, and will stop at nothing to achieve this. This too, is not peace.
