Say I take like 1-2 grams how much would cross? From my understanding it couldnt cross the bbb, but when i took it with niacin it worked alot better...gaba for me also has a physical downer effect that I like too (muscle relaxation) not much mental tho.

It crosses in small amounts. if you take a large enough dose of gaba you will get an effect. Dr. Daniel Amen has shown it with brain scan images.
