  • this is a joke, you dont need this much stuff for a gaming system that you can play any game with on higher required settings, you dont need a soundcard, you dont need sli or crossfire, you dont need more than 1 HDD, a 260gtx would be fine for anything you wanna do. i like the 4gb of ram, beyond that you're wasting money, you dont need water cooling. just buy a case with alot of

fan placing capability. aka the NZXT source 210 (elite). a nice quad core however is a great choice. :)

  • @easilyamusedcinema Why are you suggesting old cards even now? Come on, it's 2011. Today best cards you can get are GTX 590 and HD 6990, I think you're outdated bro.

  • @Dex1n i love your comment, because alot of people that go out and buy these 3k comps, are terrible at the games they play, so what's the point.

  • @easilyamusedcinema The point is you get much better performance card these days. GTX 570 for example supports dx11, which outdated GTX 280 doesn't. There's no real point buying 3 year old card when there's much better out there for the same price and gaming experience is much better with them. It's hard to be good at some game, if the game lags ;D Besides gaming is about having fun, not wasting your life being great in games.

  • @easilyamusedcinema But like I said before, I wouldn't use 3000$ for a PC.

  • what is raid 0....in english

  • Don't necessarily need a sound card anymore or water cooling nor a 1200 watt psu, You can built a relatively cheap gaming PC and play anything on the market today, wont need to video cards either get a single fast card for now and upgrade to a 2nd card later. Built mine for around $1300 with the 5850 i recently bought and damn this thing with play anything at full detail and max settings, even beating an i7 is some cases

  • @Vikingdude2121 dude you can build a high end gaming computer for 600 dollars. you can get a quad core, ati 6850 or 460gtx, 500gb hdd, this guy is crazy saying you need 2k or 3k, i mean most people that shell out that money, arent even good @ the games they play, so whats the point.

  • Comment removed

  • @easilyamusedcinema No you dont need that much, I built mine for $1300 total, But I originally built it for $790 but had issues in the passed and had to replace a few things, and or upgrade like my video card. But you dont need that much to play pretty much any game on the market today (besides Black Ops, almost need an i7 for that piece of crap game). But when you build expensive computers, it should last you longer than a $700 system.

  • @Vikingdude2121 High end system means you can max out any game on the market easily... You have wrong idea what high end gaming system means. I wouldn't pay 3000 for playing some hardware intensive games on absolute max though.

  • @Dex1n I do know what a high end system is, and I happen to own a high end system that I built for around $1,300 and guess what, I can play any game on max at 1920x1080 fairly easy with 60+ fps. And I don't got an i7, Don't need it, Not yet anyway. High end yes can play any game easily true, But the time of the post, you didn't need anything like an i7 or some highly clocked quad, The games that are being released now such as BF3 may push some systems pretty hard

  • @Vikingdude2121 I happen to own i7 2600K and GTX 570, got them for the price pretty much similar to yours. And no, it's a mid high end system. To me or you it might feel like high end, I like my system and its really enough for me. BUT Real high end systems are those which got 2x GTX 580's + i7 or something similar.

  • @Dex1n Would you say an I7 920 @ 4.2Ghz, two Asus GTX 560s ti in SLI, 6 GB of ram. 1604. Asus P6T Deluxe V2, Cooler Master HAF-X thermaltake 750W PSU, seagate momentus xt 500Gb.. is that high end or not?

  • @MindSeeR666 Well for gaming single GTX 580 would be better... I mean yeah 2x 560's will get bit better FPS BUT they tend to have micro stuttering which is similar to lag, when 2 GPUs can't communicate well with each other it stutters in game... Single and powerful GPU is always better option imo.. Unless you care more about benchmark scores than gaming. And to answer your question: depends on who you're talking to, I'd say it's a high end, but many enthusiasts wouldn't.

  • @Dex1n I suppose you're right about that.. Also, my motherboard the Asus P6T Deluxe V2. What type of ram can it hold? I know the max is 24 GB.. But, I don't understand the speeds it can take. 6 x DIMM, Max. 24 GB, DDR3 2000(O.C.)*/1866(O.C.)*/1800(O.C.)*/1600(O.C.)/1333/1066 Non-ECC,Un-buffered Memory. doesn't really mean much to to. can it only hold 133e/1066 speeds and the other numbers are what it can be overclocked too? Can it have memory that's at 1600? I'm a bit confused.

  • @MindSeeR666 Yes it can have 1600Mhz memory. Are you buying/building new rig or are you just updating it? If you're byuing totally new, for a gamer lga 1155 is better platform and doesn't cost as much. And you can use the saved money towards better graphics card and other stuff.

  • @Dex1n I'm planning on upgrading I have that board with 6 GB of RAM and a I7 920 @ 4.2Ghz.. I was thinking on upgrading to Corsair Vengeance 12GB. Or the corsair dominator gt 12GB I quite like the fan you can get for the dominator. But if I go for the vengeance *which is cheaper* I could buy the fan separately.

  • @MindSeeR666 Well the fan isn't really needed for RAM ;D Unless it's very high speed like 2133MHz+. If you're looking for new GPU GTX 580 is the best choice, if you got the money. 590 and 6990 are dual GPUs and they do have micro stuttering. 570 isn't that bad either. But I wouldn't go with 2 midrange cards, better to have 1 powerful single GPU so you don't run into heat problems and driver problems which come with SLI/CrossfireX set ups.

  • @Dex1n I bought two GTX 560s.. I might as well by the vengeance.. It's so much cheaper then the dominator. Thanks for your help tho.

  • @MindSeeR666 There's no reason to choose dominator over vengeance, especially if the price difference is huge. RAM doesn't matter much anyway, just how much you have it matters the most and decent speeds like 1600mhz.

  • @Dex1n Ah, okay thank you... I'll get the vengeance it is so much cheaper for 12GB of that then the dominator 12GB. I guess 1600 it is.. Tehe... I was worried at first I thought only 1333/1066 speeds would fit. Thanks for clearing things up..

  • @MindSeeR666 I'm actually not quite sure why it states 1333/1066, it was some ridiculous reason though. But yeah people use 2000MHz+ RAM on that board so you shouldn't have problems with 1600MHz.

  • @easilyamusedcinema No you can't. 6850 is low/mid range card. High end gaming system means you can max out any game on the current market with high FPS rates. with 6850 you cannot max out Crysis, think not even BFBC2 on 1920x1080. Get your facts straight. Yes 6850 is just fine for most people, but we're talking about extreme high end system, not some budget build imo. That's what the high end stands for, it's not budget PC, save your whining for some place else.

  • @easilyamusedcinema Even my system, GTX 570 + i7 2600K isn't even near the highest end. Still very good, rapes 6850 or 560 in the asshole, but it's not highest end system. More like mid high end. To most people it is high end yeah, to me too. But it's not like the people who have GTX 590 or HD 6990, my system is nothing for them. And your system suggestions are nothing to me. People can have different opinions about the high end, but please, stay in the facts.

  • how much does a high end gaming rig cost nowadays? around 1500$ ?

  • @szafto if you get something like what he was talking about... but with modern components it will still cost your $2,000 but video cards and drives have come a long way since then. So, a $1500 PC would be pretty awesome...

  • Love the grin at the end!!

  • First of all, it won't always cost you alot of money. [:

AMD quad-core, 8gigs ddr2, dual 512mb GeForce 9600 video cards, dual WD 1tb hhd, liquid cooled. Under $700, its bullshit to spend more than 1k on a computer, you can do your research and build your own, save 100s of dollars.

Only reason I would see a pc costing above 1k is if you go through Dell, AlienWare, or some other bullshit manufacturer price markups [up to 200%]

  • @NocturnalDistortion And that isn't a "High End" system anymore. Sure, it was a couple years ago. But a high end system means top of the line, new technology. I spent more than 700 on my CPU alone. Sure, that's a decent rig you built. But it is no where near high end.

  • so basically just buy the most expensive high end parts on the market

  • What about tri-channel RAM? 3x2GB???

  • This video will be fun to watch in 2018. At the rate we're going, these 2008 high end systems might fetch $50 on kijiji. "They were still using spinning hard drives?? haha"

Does anyone want my 1997 1 gigabyte external hard drive? I bought it at cost for only $900. $500 firm :)

  • but a great high end set up is. a phenom 2 1090t black overclocked to 4.2ghz with a noctua nhd-14 cpu cooler. a cooler master haf x case. a cooler master silent pro 1000 watt power supply. 8gbs or gskill, corsair or kingston 1.6ghz memory. 2 radeon 5970s in crossfire x, a asus crosshair 4 extreme mobo, 2 velociraptor 10k rpm hdds. a uber fast gameing pc for under 3k dallors that wont be far behind in performance to a intell 4 way sli nvidia pc that cost over 5k and run cooler with less power

  • running 2 59702 with a amd cpu oc to 4ghz+ is going to run alot cooler and use mutch less power than a nvidia intell setup and cost half as much money as a 4 way sli set up. but its still over kill. get a 750 watt power supply, a phenom 2 955 black oc it to 4ghz wiith a after market cooler, 4gbs of ddr3 1333mhz ram, a radeon hd 5770 video card. or a nvidia gtx 450 and you can still run any game out now on high to ultra settings for under 1200 bucks.

  • for high end gameing 2 ati radeon 5970s in crossfire matched with a amd phenom 2 955 black oc to 4ghz is a good gaming combination for the money and a 1000 watt power supply is plenty enough to run that set up. 1200 watts is overkill unless your running 3 way sli nvidia gtx 480s. yeah 4 way sli gtx 480s coupled with a intell i7 980x is the supreme gameing pc you can build. but youd need a 1500 watt power supply to run it. it would cost nerely 6k dallors to buld and run extremely hott.

  • If you don`t have loads of money (like me), then build over time. It took me about 3 months just reviewing and collecting parts and sticking them in the cupboard until I had everything. It`s not cheaper than getting it all in one go, but it feels cheaper because you spread the costs. Also, you`ll have thoroughly researched everything by then, so very little can go wrong such as buying the wrong CPU for the motherboard as I once did out of impatience!

  • Overkill man!!! You could knock 1k off both those systems. First dont get a extreme edition CPU. You dont need to raid raptors.. just one raptor or raid a slower drive. ALso you dont need water unless you are going over 4ghz. Air is fine. Nice systems but drop the extreme CPU and water. Both those are overkill for gaming. I promise you can build a system for 1500 USD that will kill any game you throw its way. 1200watts to run 2 cards LMFAO

  • And why do people pay more for windows 'ultimate'? I mean, seriously, do the games run better under it or something (rolls eyes). It's all about prestige, with some people, it really is

  • Why DID people feel the need to get quad core CPUs, when no games supported it (I can understand getting one NOW). Why do people spend 200+ on a motherboard, when a cheap one for 40 will perform just the same with the CPU memory and video card that it is rated for. Why do people use REALLY fast RAM, when it's been proven throughly that it doesn't give you a better framerate. And why do people use WAY MORE memory than they actually need.

  • 3dgameman seems to know as much about hardware as anybody and he's a great guy etc.

But there's so much guff advice knocking about with "gaming computers". Why do people feel the need for these really enormous, expensive and gay looking cases? Why do people feel the need to get really fast hard disks and raid setups, when it won't make any difference to your framerate (only a small decrease in the loading screen times). Why do people feel the need for massive PSU 1200W, it is complete overkill

  • what are sound cards for? for better sounds or what? :(

  • now lts see you'r pc setup :D

  • i have 6,000 to spend on a pc what should i get???

  • The highest end things you can get....$6000 will get your a very long ways.

  • lol now-a-days this stuff costs around $650 not 3 grand

  • why are you guys ar bluffing at him he tries to help only

    thanks rodney thumps up

  • at the end of the video when he smiles lmfao

  • @23razerblazer Shows how sad your life is.

  • raptor x hard drive

  • Don't forget the Arctic Silver 5.. gotta have that too.

  • EVERYONE STOP WHINING ABOUT windows 7 THIS VIDEO IS OLD IF HE MAKES A VIDEO WITH SAME QUESTION I BET HE WILL HAVE WINDOWS 7 AND A HD 5870 or GTX 480 SO STOOOO WHINING

  • i heard vista was not good for gaming, is that true?

  • @MATTNATTMATT you have to consider that this video was made 2 years ago. For me Win 7 is Good for Gaming. And i think Xp Is Also Great Too.

  • @MATTNATTMATT ofc its true, look how much memory it uses.

  • @MATTNATTMATT fuck Vista we have Win 7 now

  • @MATTNATTMATT

Yes, Windows 7 is better for gaming versus Windows Vista. The way graphics were handled in Vista was a failure which resulted in many programs taking up twice as much graphics memory as with XP due to the way the GUI displayed and buffered graphics. Windows 7 has rectified this by going back to a similar but improved design as with Windows XP.

  • what gfx card should i hav if i want to run 3 monitars

  • highend means the best. the best will always be expensive. 2-3 k. high end video cards itself are around 500 each. in tri sli, its at 1500 right there.

  • why do some people have 2 graphics cards instead of just 1 ?

what would be the benefits of having 2 graphics cards over 1?

  • @mrtombarron The benefit would depend on the mainboard to start. Certain main boards can only make use of 4x or 8x speeds in crossfire or SLI while others can go to 16x (these will cost you) The overall benefit of having 2 cards would be better energy efficiency and overall performance. Take note that 1 regular graphics card will run in 16x on PCI-e

  • @mrtombarron more graphics processing power not exactly double but close to a 50-70% increase in processing power

  • @mrtombarron

more power,i dont think it would be twice the power but it would be a good amohnt more, then you can have better FPS on games and there fore smoother gameplay

  • @MATTNATTMATT True, Two Graphics Cards Boost The Performance So much more.

  • @mrtombarron it helps when you are gaming if you whant more Res or AA stuff like that with less frame dropp Crossfire or SLI is the way to go

  • I would say:

    Rampage III extreme

    4 GTX480's

    i7 980x

    Some CL7 2000MHz memory

2 Large high speed SSD in raid 0

Processor and graphics cards water cooled

  • its pronounced RAIDIATOR not RADIATOR.

(im an not talking about spelling, but about pronounciation.)

  • jeez that seems like alot of work there. i'd rather just play a console

  • @KrackHead1231 Lol hight end comps are more powerfull then any console out there tho ...

  • I'm mostly a retro gamer anyway. graphics don't mean that much to me

  • I Want To Know About

That 1 Slot RAM perfome better OR 2 Slot RAM perfome better

I will be waiting for the answer

  • Just so you guys know this was 2 years ago. ALOT of things have changed since! While at the time that was the most amazing pc gaming system its not now or its sort of near to the end of its life! Just warning the noobies out there who may not know much about parts and is making a list of parts! I hope rodney puts up an updated version soon :D

  • @adamknox Sorry i thought he said 1x 280 lol Ok so its got a good few years left but there ARE alot better parts out there now for the same money you would have been paying 2 years back!

  • i am wondering if this motherboard supports 2 HD 4870 TOXIC vapor-x 1GB GDDR5 or i git a single gpu HIS HD5890 or i go to the nvidia? witch one is the best?? 2 hd 4870 , 1 HD HIS 5890 or an Nvidia GTX 285??

sorry for my english but im portuguese btw ur vidios are the best it was based on it that i buyed my computer Thanks a Lot and i hope u can help me on this "problem"

    R

  • Hello Rodney

I have a new gamming computer but i want to improve the graphics card my current gaming system is:

    PSU- Corsair 650 Watts

    Graphics card- Sapphire HD 4870 TOXIC vapor-x 1GB GDDR5

    MotherBoard- Asus Striker Extreeme II

Processor- Intel Core 2 Quad QX6700 2.66 stock but in OC at 3.60

    HDD- 2x velociraptor 300GB

    Memory ram- 2x 2GB Corsair dominator 1660Mhz

Cooling system- costum wattercooling (just for the Processor)

  • @PontezZ

you could buy a HIS or XFX HD 5770.

i am using it and not that bad.

  • Hello Rodney

i want to improve the graphics card my current gaming system is:

    PSU- Corsair 650 Watts

    Graphics card- Sapphire HD 4870 TOXIC vapor-x 1GB GDDR5

    MotherBoard- Asus Striker Extreeme II

Processor- Intel Core 2 Quad QX6700 2.66 stock but in OC at 3.60

    HDD-2x velociraptor 300GB

    ram- 2x 2GB Corsair dominator 1600Mhz

Cooling system-wattercooling (just for the Processor)

  • hey Rodney! Question.

I recently bought a Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer sound card. My question is how do I plug in my Logitech G51 5.1 speakers to this card? My speakers have a green, pink, orange, and deep blue color jacks that plug in easily to my color coded motherboard audio. However, on the Sound blaster card, the colors do not match, and there are only four jacks. What cable/adapter do I need to plug these speakers i? Thanks.

  • theres alot way to built a high-end gaming pc, this is only one of those way on what kind of stuff he recommend.

building a high-end gaming computer can be vary, because of the user itself.

  • wtf 2/3000 US? i could build a 10% slower pc for 400 bucks at that time.

Why do you need 2 raptors for gaming?

  • yeah... why ?? just buying 1 tb hardrives are alot better... :>

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • His setup seems overkill to me, and yes I agree SLI is rather overated still. The average Gamer Joe doesn't need two GPU's.

  • In my defense, I'm not the average gamer Joe lol.

I have two GTX 295's in SLI, whenever someone asks me what graphics card I have and I tell them, they always moan about how SLI is overkill or it's crap somehow. Are these people just jealous or what? I see a huge performance boost in Crysis with two GPU's rather than one, same with every other game...

SLI is great for performance, just costly.

  • yeah... they are just jelous... like me... so when I read about your comment I moan XD

  • GTX295 is actually called Quad Sli when you have two of these cars, since it's a dual GPU ;D. I have one GTX295 :)

  • People say stuff gets cheaper, but that does not mean it will always be available.

  • Fuck SLI, no one ever mentions the microstutter!! I think all these people that recommend SLi dont actually play games very much & just like to build crazy computers! I had 2x GTX275s & sold 1 to a friend because the microstutter killed me, just 1 card for me from now on

  • wow sounds very expensive. my new rig only cost £866 and, as Hammond would say, I spared no expense ;)

you get what you pay for, after all

  • the only thing i have is the case Cosmos S! haha better than nothing! haha

  • Stuff gets cheaper over time this was a while ago.

  • Its goodto see ppl posting cheaper biulds with newer parts, but did any of you guys take note that this video is almost 2 years old LOL

  • My apologise on spelling :-)

  • Anyone can pick out the most expensive component per category in the market and make such a 'dream' list.

I won't say his specs aren't good. I only wished he added the traditional 'mastercard ad' phrase at the end of his vid. ^ ^

  • Cooler Master HAF 932,Intel i7,Cooler Master V-8,Asus Rampage 2 Extreme MoBo, 6gb,OCZ Blade CL9 2000 MHz Ram,Utlra X3 1000 Watt PS,HD 4890 1GB DDR5 Video Card,(4)- 80GB Velociraptors in Raid 0,1TB Caviar Black for Storage, N-Xtreme wireless card,Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. I just need someone to help get it working to its full potential.. Southern Indiana any help out there? Thanks Steve

  • 1:45 what the... "a-soos" o_O

  • I THINK THIS WOULD STILL BE FAST

  • everything i want in my pc comes to £5,050,98p

  • TBH if you dont have unlimited funds, you can get similar performance by not buying the extreme high end products and instead buying cheaper products. You will sacrifice some performance but will also cost you a lot less. The only place you cant really skimp on is the gpu's. So instead of the qx9650 go for a q6600. Instead of ddr3, go for ddr2. DVD instead of blu ray....

  • I'd personally invest in an SSD, and instead of the sound card he suggested, I'd go with the "AuzenTech X-FI Prelude 7.1 Sound Card"

Get an EVGA X58 3X SLI mobo (Does Xfire too)

I'd change the power supply to a Corsair Power Supply, and get the Lancool K62 case.

Core i7 920, and use the Corsair H50 to cool it

with either Corsair or OCZ ram, both carry a Lifetime Warranty, and are top of the line for Memory.

Believe me, I have done over a YEAR or more of research on these parts. :-)

  • Sounds good. The only things I would change are the processor to a w3520(a higher binned version of the i7 920 with a guaranteed D0 stepping) and the H50 to a Prolimatech Megahalems(the best heatsink currently available, outperforms H50 as long as paired with good fans and doesn't mess up airflow).

  • Isn't the "w3520" another socket?

and will it perform better than the Core i7 920 D0 stepping? or it's just guaranteed to be D0, like you said.

I also wanted to invest in the Corsair H50, because I'm not one of those people that overclocks to break records.

I just want to be able to get a decent OC, and not have to worry about cleaning out a CPU fan :-)

    While still getting decent cooling.

Not trying to break a cooling record either, lol :-)

  • The w3520 is LGA 1366, its nearly identical to an i7 920 D0. From what I've read the only difference shows up in OCing it will accept a lower Vcore for the same frequency as a D0.

As for the H50, the only problem I have with it is it ruins airflow inside the case because it requires you to turn your rear exhaust into an intake.

  • Interesting.

but with the Lancool K62 case, it has 3 top fans...

so I should still get alright cooling. What do you think?

as far as the w3520... I don't know much about OC'ing, I was going to get the EVGA mobo because it has the ELEET OC Utility, but I think you still need to know a bit about OC'ing to use it too..

    but what's Vcore?

  • Does the W3520 ramp up your other Cores, like i7 does?

When you need more processing power.

  • Yup. It goes up to 2.93ghz from stock speeds when needed.

  • cool, that sounds good, I will probably get that for myself, and build my friend a Core i5 rig.

    Any thoughts on Core i5?

  • i5 is just i7 without the HT. If you're gaming you won't see much of a difference between the two if any. The only problem I have with i5 is its use of the LGA 1156 socket it doesn't leave much room for upgrading.

  • yeah, I agree.

I just want to build my friend a system, but at the same time I want it to be future proof, like I don't want to go the i5 route, and find out that in 3 years, games run crappy on it, and get like 8 fps or something, lol

then he will never wanna get a PC ever again, lol he's hardcore into consoles. Would you say it's best for him to just get the Xeon version of the i7 920? instead of the i5 750..

  • Either way it will need to be upgraded eventually, but I'm sure both will still be able to play games fine in a few years. A handful of gamers today still use Pentiums(granted they aren't running crysis on highest settings). If you're on a budget go i5, if not you may want to get an i7. Don't get an Xeon unless you're planning on overclocking(even then regular i7s are great); they do have compatibility issues with some motherboards.

  • Well, I do wanna OC, (Free Speed) :-)

Thing Is I have NEVER done it, lol

I've been using computers for a long time, like since I was 5, haha

but OC'ing is just something I never attempted, but for my next build I really do wanna OC, but I have no idea where to begin.

For my friend I may just build him an i5, and use the OC Genie that comes with the mobo, and get a decent OC for him like 3.4 ghz or something.

But I wanna go a little furthur, and do it myself. With MY Rig.

  • I've only ever done light OCs through software, though for my next rig I want to go for a 24/7 4ghz OC so I need to get more familiar with the BIOS as well. As for where to start, watching/reading a few tutorials should help(which I really need to do too) :)

  • Cool, maybe you could give me some tips when I am ready to OC :-)

wont be for a bit anyways.

  • What about the Core i7 860? being it's socket 1156 it has Turbo Boost, but it's also got Hyperthreading too.

Doesn't the Socket LGA1366 only have Hyperthreading, and not Turbo Boost?

Sounds like the best of both worlds, I wonder how it would fair against the Xeon W3520.

  • The i7 900 series has turbo boost as well actually. The main differences between the 800 and 900 series are:

    - 800s use socket 1156; 900s use socket 1366

    - 800s have a dual-channel memory controller; 900s have a tri-channel memory controller

    - 800s have a 2.5GT/s DMI; 900s have a 4.8GT/s QPI(I've read 900s are much better for an SLI configuration for this reason)

  • hmm, I stand corrected, lol

I guess for my friends PC, he should probably get something better than a Core i5 if he's going to be doing 3D Vision, where you need to run in SLI to get decent fps.

and since SLI is better with the 900 series, I will get him that, rather, the Xeon W3520 :-)

  • You're probably better off doing your own research than listening to me when it comes to SLI, but if you arent on a budget then go for the core i7/Xeon. Though keep in mind that the W3520 does have compatibility issues with some motherboards(if you're worried about this the i7 920 D0 is nearly the same thing).

  • Well I plan on getting the EVGA X58 3X SLI mobo, it's higher up there than some mob's, it will probably support it, but I will have to double check that.

  • Same mobo I'm looking at :)

I know it can support it, but I'm not sure if you have to flash the bios or if it does out of the box, though I assume it's the latter.

  • is Turbo Mode on the Xeon W3520?

  • you can build a wicked gaming rig for at the most $1,500

depending if you buy parts for headroom or not.

  • I'm building a computer, but i am stuck on the choice between two cases;

    antec 1200

    and cm haf 932

any suggestions would be gladly appriciated :D

  • i was wondering whats better the p55 gigabyte or the maximus iii formula

  • i got a question wat is com1 com2 in back of some computer ????

  • Serial ports - not used much these days

  • check the date on the video....

  • ar=lright buddy that said xp is better than win 7 its is not u are shit go fu%% your our self and leave this guy alone dont watch this vid if u wanna complain and i am not comming back here dickwad so peice bitch

  • I wonder when they are going to release the

    NEW iFaggot. iMac for cracks.

  • what is this a sale's pitch? too buy for high end gaming this is crazy you don't need half of what he said christ people!!!!

  • It says High-end. Of course you don't need them. You do not even have to buy a computer, or live, but you do.

  • ugh my comp is~ $2500 a xps studio with lots of storage (i consume currently <750GB)

  • Oy, anyone who recommends VISTA for a gaming system needs to reclassify themselves a non-expert... Vista is a horrid waste of resources, which TRUE gamers don't do. XP is still the best for gaming systems (even over Windows 7) and yes XP drivers are available for EVERY part mentioned in the video.

  • you can make with 500 euro a fine gaming pc. Its run everhing not on 120fps but good for 50fps for sure. So why spend 3000 and in about 1 year its cheap shit? god it :) i dont buy 3000 dollars or euro its not word it believe it only for 1 year and then ? build a new one ? cost to many money

  • could someone tell me how my new system will run? like ratings antec 1200 Asus Rampage II Extreme Intell Core I7 920 D0 stepping G.Skill 6GB DDR3 1600mhz Ati HD4890 Corsair Modular 750W DVD RW 22x Caviar Black 1TB HDD Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme future upgrades: ati HD4890 (CrossFire) SSD 32GB (OEM) thanks
  • Yeah im sure that will run fine ... im just not to suer on the Vaviar Black 1TB HDD sounds not to bad but im not sure if it will be anybetter

  • monster!!

  • $2,000 - $3000. What he just said, you can get a good Mac Pro (though low end) right now with over 5GB of RAM and a 640GB HDD and Windows Vista for $120 (Home Premium) for about $2650.

  • macs suk

  • That's right. Be jealous that you can't afford them.

  • id rather hav a GTX295 pc $3000 than a $3000 mac with a 4870

  • So you don't like the Mac only because of the graphics card. WOW. Sad very sad. HD 512MB or get 2 of them. Very sad.

  • no bro right now i have a 4000$ custom built 12gig ram 700GB HDD ,windows vista ultimate 7, has built in L.E.D lights that when i play the music it falshes on and off to the beats, water cooling...

    >: } yeah now you be jealous bitch macs are terrible there not ment for gaming dumb shit

  • There's no such thing as Windows Vista 7 -_-... oh YAY you get to pay more money just to have flashing lights oh joy now PCs are better. UGH.

From Apple Store with this config:

    12GB DDR3 RAM

    Dual 2.26GHz Xeon processors

2 TB total of HDD space

    NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 512MB

    One 18x SuperDrive

    Mouse and keyboard

Price: SAME AS THAT ONE. $3,990. Take THAT dude. You paid more for less space, lights, and a BETA of Windows.

  • fuck you faggot macs suck my dick.... yes there is a windows 7 fuck tard ... yeah great! wow a shit mouse and keyboard nice accomplishment macs arent made to game there fucking terrible.... QUEER and actaully my computer would rape your gay lil mac in so many ways its not even close to funny bitch

  • Nice. You dont like a good mouse, dont understand how it's Windows 7 and not Windows VISTA 7 as you said.Oh and im so sorry that youre jealous from being beaten by a Mac XD

  • The GT120 is a piece of shit, and its not like you could do anything cool with that besides video encoding.

The person above is an idiot though, and he probably bought it from Alienware.

  • Mac is for gay people though :[

  • i wouldnt say that... seiously... macs are really good, not for gaming, but I can run half life 2 garrysmod and counter strike source pretty well on my 13" macbook. I do want to build a good gaming computer soon, but for now my mac works

  • I think he meant Windows 7. But to make your computer better, try upgrading your GFX cards. Gaming=PC. Easy to Use, Easy to Learn Computer=Apple.

  • You sir are an idiot. $4000 custom build means squat. And no there is no such thing as "Windows Vista ultimate 7".

Personally i hate macs but its abit of a jump to say Macs cannot game. It's down to software and none universal coding, that they are not used.

    Plus they are overpriced.

  • you dont have any of that shit but okay you pathalogical liar.

    PS your a fag

  • WoW lol i look back at this conversation and find this funny xD i actually have a mac now, aswell as my gaming computer, i take back everything i said

  • For decent gaming also, you dont need to spend big on an external sound card, these days the onboard ones are perfect for most peoples needs (unless you record alot)

    And veloci? lol.

Just get a 60GB SSD + WD Black ed, for everything else, Faster + Cheaper/... i suppose this videeo is aa year old

  • You can get a Decent Gaming PC for Sub $800, Or an awesome one for $1500

  • evil smile at the end ?

  • my whole computer was like $600 and i can play any game out over 60 fps except crysis at 45 fps.

  • 60 fps but you're not saying the graphics level. LOL

  • your right i didnt, all high, max everything at 1680 x 1050. there ya go!

  • OH yeah. Tell us memory, memory type, memory speed, processor, processor clock speed, size of the caches, and the speed of the FSB. All of those tie into it too.

  • yea with very very very low setting on crysis lol

  • rodney where did you go man?

  • current gaming rig

    mobo: Gigabyte GA X48 dq6

cpu: Intel e8400@4.0Ghz(soon q9650 so far e8400 is fast enough)

    ram: OCZ Reaperx 2x2gig@1066

video: 2x Sapphire 4890 with 2 gib vidram

    ROCKS EVERYTHING =)

  • is a PACKARD BELL X9610 any gd ?

  • My computer is more than fast enough for most games on high graphics. However, I often don't run them on very high settings, because it just gets annoying with over rendered reflections. I spent about $500 for 8GB DDR2-1066, 320GB WD HDD (have to replace this), Biostar TA790GX mobo, Aspire 500W PSU, AMD Athlon X2 6000+ OC'd to 3.4GHz, HIS Radeon HD 4870 512MB, and an LG lightscribe DVD-RW. Its a great, cheap system. I'll pobably upgrade my CPU to a Phenom II X4 or X2 Black Edition.

  • $500 on 8GB DDR2? What a waste of money. Could have done a lot better.

  • no no no no...i meant $500 for all of it. i spent like $50 on the OCZ fatal1ty ram...

  • I'd save money/time for the ATI HD 5*** series. there supposed to have DX11 for windows 7. or just get a HD 4870 X2 depending on price

  • I got the option 2: it's AMAZING!!!! :D

I don't have problems at all!

    Thank you sooo much!!!

i can play cs 1.6 without problems :)

    i'm addicted 100% by the way :D

  • same

  • me too :))

  • same here

    cs 1.6

    i'm addicted 100% by the way :D

  • I spent $800 on my pc and its running crysis at literly everything maxed settings at 48fp.

  • Could I please get your specs? I really wanna built, and play Crysis :D

  • If you e-mail me I can send you the links of the system I got and If you want I could build you a desktop online and send you the link to fit your budget and non the less play crysis max settings at under $800.

  • tech gets older every day. if you buy a pc for 1000 euro/dollars one year ago its will be worth less now and it will be slower. thats why the same tech will be cheaper the next year. but there will be better hardware at that point.. its an endless cycle :(
