What the hell? This is YouTube! You're supposed to play pointless '80s cliches in your bedroom as fast as you can and call it "music"! Shame on you for being tasteful and restrained and interesting, and up on a real stage showing your cajones to the world. Good job, man. Love your vibrato, it's just like Mike Fuller's, of "Fulltone" fame.
Tony Bach Rules! Great sound, killer riffs, on the rooftop at the end of a fireworks show on the 4th of july, what more can you need (other than a grill, some burgers, and a cold drink? oh, and I'd love to have tony's guitar + rig..lol) Who says Joe satriani invented harmonics? I think some guitarist in the 1300's did it first. So are Joe Satch and even Jimi Hendrix "harmonics thiefs"? Whoever has a complaint, put up YOUR solo and let's see you go.
amazing that some expect youtube to bring the real and correct/best sound of the guitarist! If it sounds good HERE..it mjust be effen AWESOME in real life. I wish I could hear THIS in 3-d...but thanks for posting it here...great stuff.
I had this video in my favorites since long time ago.....and to be honest is amazing!!!

Don't you just hate it when you go to a gig and the people in front just light up a huge cigar....

What effect is that? Overdrive?

nice solo. tight playing just needs a little extra something in the backing track so it gives you more room to solo around. nice licks either way.
ibl33d 4 years ago
the less in the backing track the more room you have to solo..
musiclife224 3 years ago
more chords changes/ key changes etc make the solo more colorful on the other hand..

You're not saying that its Satriani because of the pick tapping? Or the pentatonic work? All of that stuff predates Satch by decades!
ricaard 5 years ago
is that not a joe satriani song? well, parts of it
jonnybarvo 5 years ago
Parts of it are Amazing Grace and God Bless America. The rest is just a jam. Thanks for asking.
maxgain7 5 years ago
you play in a very similar style to satch. i assume hes a big influence on you. hes one of my heros :) good stuff though, it sounded great

The muscianship might be there but I just didn't enjoy this. Maybe it was the recording. A better mix might have more impact for me perhaps.
