No..Actually it's a 'Moonshine Slide' constructed of ceramic..porous inside (very comfortable) and the outside finish allows for some very warm tones.

Funny, I never realized people used open tuning for slide. I learned standard tuning slide (weird) until I learned 'Little Martha' in E...
