Callisto is the sexiest villain in modern television history. She totally stole the show from both Hercules and Xena when she guest-starred. As a bisexual guy, I can appreciate them both but she's so frigging hot !!!!
I was both lucky and unlucky. She was a so much like the Callisto in this show, minus the Armor and Sword. She was sexy, and crazed from head to toe. She could be the most loyal friend and the most vengeful and evil bitch. We are divorced now. She was really violent durring sex. It was like trying to make love to a angry bear.

And, it's been several years . Well, why I am telling this to the whole World. The funny part is that my drama with her overlapped the moment I first saw Callisto on tv and I could'nt believe the similarity. Thanks for the video it's great.
her being a god wasn't too bad except for the fact they kept bringing her back and you can only trap her so many times. i think they killed her too soon, not realizing how popular she would be, therefore they had to try to find ways to bring her back... i would have left her as an immortal rather than a god, at least it would have been easier to find ways to defeat her rather than rocks falling on her...
I think it was a good thing. She was mad (in the head) before and being a God just magnified it. I always thought they'd make her a God and boy does she do it well!
as a human or god she was awesome, as a god beaten by falling rocks over and over and over and over and over and over again, she looked a fool! as for redemption i wish they did something else other than the whole angel bit. didn't like how they brought the angels into the mythology and the christian stuff. im a christian myself; however, it ruined the greek-based mythology
I guess many Christians were offended by how christian stuff was used especially in the last two seasons and the end of the 4th season. I have one religious friend who was deeply offended by that. I think the series lost it's greek "aura" and greek..er, essence when it started criss-crossing mythological and christian themes. Since thesehese can't be blended together, guess they were lured by the ecstasy of the shows success into messing the whole thing up.

That's for sure. We agree on that. I already said that Xtian X Greek myth doesn't work for me (nor does it for anybody I'm sure!)These weak points always pissed me off. It was as if they didn't care much about consistency and never gave a damn about keeping up a coherent mythical world.

Even if it was a temporary godhood thing, it would've been better. I never liked the whole idea of Xena kicking the gods' asses for good in the 1st place. This is against the essence of greek mythology

She acted it wonderfully, I agree. But it doesn't mean the idea was right for the series. They killed all the potential of the charachter that way.
