i do play basketball and i still don't think you can take a half step. When you pick up the ball the first step counts when the first foot that was not on the ground when the ball was picked up hits the ground, then the second step counts when the other foot has left the ground and has landed. But I'm not responding to this anymore because I'm sick of all the people who think they are better than the pros, and think they can officiate better than some of the best Refs in the world.

monta ellis is a pretty sick player, no doubt about it. he's underrated IMO. but i still don't get how the warriors suck so bad. they have above average talent(ellis, morrow, maggete, azubuike, jackson, randolph, law, biedrins, turiaff, brandan wright), but they play the shittiest D. if they had a defensive minded coach, they would win 45-49 games every year.
