Look at the Medal of Honor recipients and what they did to receive that medal. That's the highest medal you can receive in US military.

i am russian and i can translate: the guy behind the camera is yelling to him to get up and keep going and another instructor is counting down the minutes until they can stop, they pause the time every time he falls down, from what i hear they have been doing this for a while (20 min or something) changing instructors every few minutes, the idea is to summon the willpower to stay counsious for the entire endurance test.
