  • IMHO, Joe Bonamassa is up there with Hendrix. Don't argue.

  • Two guitar gods Joe and Eric Czar on bass. It is hard to get any better than that...too bad they still aren't together. Czar just drives the hell out of the bottom on the song and with Joe on guitar what more could one ask for?

  • The bassist is superb!!

  • Power trio. Been a long time since we've seen anything like this. Hendrix, Cream, and now, JB. Rock On Brother.

  • Joe Bonamassa, Always on the Road! lol, it must feel like it when youre tryin to make it in the beginning...addicting too Joe?

  • Perfect control ...

  • There's just one thing better than a truly great track, and that's one that lasts a long time. THIS is one!!!

  • There's just one thing better than a truely great track, and that's one that lasts a long time. THIS is one!!!

  • copperkick10-Right up there with Chris Rea-Road to hell

  • i wish he still played strats

  • @MrNicknames123 me too.

  • outrageous, disturbing, tense, chaotic, relentless. illustrates the title. dude is a genius...

  • Eric Clapton Guitar signature.

  • THIS is exactly what Joe B. has lost since he let The Caveman (Kevin Shirley) come aboard. He's enjoying great success and earning big money. At the expense of selling his soul to the 'devil'.

  • @komimakojaketu You hit the nail right on the head with that comment. He is a shadow of his former self. Sort of like Clapton since he became a pop artist instead of a guitar player.

  • @jvstrat That Kevin Shirley crack is funny! Disliking this is not an option.

  • The one person who disliked this has shit in their ears and sand in their blood. This is a perfect blend of technical mastery and raw improvised passion....

  • Great song. You have to check out the Studio Versions on Youtube. It's so much like Hendrix it's scary.

  • LOOOOOVE this video!!! Thank you very much!!

He was way better (best) around this time. I can't take anything what he is doing right now.

SAD. He lost his creative mind when he started playing only gibson, same sound and same licks over and over now. But I still love him.....

  • @JVStratocasters may agree with you. He is still my fav. regardless.

  • @JVStratocasters Is it Kevin Shirley?

  • @JVStratocasters Agreed

  • Joe works his sound in a room better than anyone!

  • hey guys, thanks so much for your support. Please go to the Official Joe Bonamassa YouTube Channel and subscribe!

  • What pedal makes the swirling chordal effect right at the beginning? Eric Johnson sounding. I want one

  • @whitetowl Line 6, see video Joe and his guitar effects an youtube

  • @whitetowl Joe Bonamassa shows his EFFECTS ############

  • What is that thing that he does with the guitar at 4:40???? Please answer anyone who knows!!! :-D thanks

  • @TheKille22 I could be wrong but I think it is a Phaser. Mind you this guy seem's to have every pedel ever made so it could really be anything.

  • @TheKille22 Hammer on with your left hand, while sliding the right side of your right hand up the strings, damping them and making the harmonics sound. Works best with high gain and using bridge pickups. Van Halen does it, Joe Satriani does it. Sounds cool!! Try hammering more than two notes with left hand e.g. 3-5-3-7-3-5-3-7.

  • @billieandmarty thanks man, really helpfull!!! :-D the move sounds awsome.

  • @TheKille22 dude i wanna know that same thing haha

  • @mmrgsn it is all about touching the strings at the pickup area, and hammering the strings on the fingerboard. the best effect is acheaved on bridge pickup and with some kind of effect pedal like overdrive. so it is like 3-h5-3-h5-3-h5-3-h5 ('h' being hammer-on) while touching the strings with your right hand (type of harmonic, or so i think). i'm not a guitarist i just wanted to try it on bass and it works, a bit tougher but it works. sorry about my bad english!

  • @TheKille22 thanks man im gonna try this out

  • @mmrgsn no problem, rock on!

  • Moving!

  • i liked him better with strat i think .. but with gibsons he is great to

  • this is the best incarnation of the JB band. Now he has two drummers, a horn section, a keyboard etc. and it ain`t as good as this.

  • @nikh158 agree!

  • there is no better version of the Joe Bonamassa Band than Eric Czar and Kenny Kramme, although Bogie is a damn good drummer too.

  • awesome.

  • All I can say is that I live for this version of the band...You never will see this kind of chemistry ever again.

  • None on the scene supercedes this blues rock master. Sounds come from his talent that are almost beyond human origin. Endless lethal licks that mesmerize the mind into soothing states of estacy. I feel awe struck into another world listening to this boy jam. He has mastered the sound settings for his equipment. I have heard no other guitarist on display on youtube, or in person that has their settings down so good. The boy has a wonderful voice of vintage blues sound that compliments it all.

  • I totally agree with you. I am addicted Joe's music and started playing b/c of him 3 years ago.

  • @moseseseseses I couldn't agree with you more! I've been playing most of my life and I wish I could achieve as good a sound as he does!

  • This really is his best song for jaming, almost every jam is brilliant.

  • do you know anyone that died that loved this song? If you do, please tell me about him.

  • this song is so powerful. Great simply great

  • this very Strat is for sale on ebay!

  • Coolest riff ever? <3 JB King

  • Is that a Clapton Strat ? Homage to the king

  • yes it is... so cool. I would love one

  • It is the line 6 dl4. I have one myself to get that string sound effect you use the auto volume seting and do the knob tweeking till you get it.

  • Your very talented all 3 , Rush influence i'm sure , unique sound , keep Rockn !!

  • In the effects instructional vid he refers to this song and says he uses 'the line 6' to get the cool strings effect, but doesn't say what kind of pedal it is.

  • i think its a line 6 DL4 delay pedel

  • It's the green one.

  • This song is right up there with Voodoo Child! Joe Bonamassa is the guitar god!

  • Totally agree! Just as good! I love Joe.

  • ...super.....

  • sounds like he uses some kind of octivator at 2.40(for the intro)

  • what chords 's he playin at the intro?

  • I need that pedal. What's it called?? I like the Clapton Strat as well.

  • The delay sound? It's a Line 6 DL-4. True, the strat is nice.

  • yeah sorry I was talking about the intro. Thanks!

  • some kinda synth medal

  • Good shit. He has a slight Hendrix sound in this jam.

  • Warning! Guitar mastermind at work! :)

  • Favorite song in the world at the moment. Mind blowing!

  • that was vh every body wants some entro

  • wicked swell tone

  • joe, see you soon in march in paris....

  • this dude rocks the waves man i like allot

  • I fucking love this. I wish he played it when I seen him. Its bloody fantastic!!!

  • Yes!! I loved the Harley-Davidson inspired logo..."Always On The Road"!! :)

  • Smacks of Hendrix.........

    This is my Theme Song.

    Joe Bonamassa <> Jimmy Hendrix

    12 letters each... Hmmm...

  • not to nitpick but it's Jimi not Jimmy

  • Cool! Notice from 1:30 to 1:58, Joe sounds like Eddie Van Halen doing the opening for "Everybody Wants Some" with those power chords.

  • So great to hear a guitarist that has SRV and Eric Johnson as his influences. I love the Eric Johnson like intro to this tune!! Joe Bonamassa is AWESOME!!!

  • Awesome! thanks alot........

  • I was at this show great show thanks for posting
