Dont put too much pressure on yourself to play good, i played for 15 years and didnt get much past playing chords,,then i stopped playing for a few years, went back to it (with some tuition from lick library cd's) and greatly improved my playing over a few weeks---In other words, dont expect to be a master after a few months or years playing without any guidance(unless your prodigy or something)

What can I say? We have to accept that we can't be good in everything. This is life. Guitar isn't an easy instrument and some people just need more practice than others. You know, some people play guitar but they have to work, to study and to do a lot of other things in life that shortens the time for practice, while some people almost live exclusively for playing guitar. No wonder if they become really good much before us.
