It has hammer ons and pull offs, but their functionality is different. It requires you to keep the lower button held down during a hammer on, and to have the lower button held down ahead of time for a pull off, which isn't necessary in later games. The timing window for it is also tighter.

Has both, they're just different to use. Hammer ons work ok if you can get used to the timing window, but pull offs are much harder, and are pretty much completely useless.

Well actually... See guitar hero doens't require too much talent. Anyone can get pretty good at it if they try enough. REAL GUITAR on the other hand... Tough man. There's no two ways about it. It's way harder. You gotta trade away a little bit of your soul if you wanna be good. But dude if you got the skills and determination to do it then go for it man! But for those of us who are out there and just wanna have a little fun...

To be fair, this was the first Guitar Hero game. At the time, getting permission to use master tracks was much harder, as Guitar Hero was a brand new, unknown thing, and bands had no idea if it'd be worth lending their masters to.

This is the PS2 version of GH1 (the only version of GH1), and there is no PC version of GH2. Perhaps you're thinking of GH3?

FC is Full Combo, which is 100% notes hit, without breaking the note streak.

Because you can still get 100% notes hit, even if you break your note streak by accidentally strumming between notes. If you do that, you still get 100%, since you hit all the notes, but it's not a full combo... the video I posted of Raw Dog a while back is an example of a 100% run that isn't a full combo.
