Watching your videos make me wanna go out and dig. To see the Etrac swing and hear that great high pitch. I guess I'm gonna have to get up with Dad Sunday and see if we can go dig somewhere! Nice hunt.
Please respond. I live in a very small town in Utah. There are no places to go hunting. I am using a Bounty Hunter (cheapo) detector and need some advice on where I might go. I have leads to places but they are ghost towns (great for hunting) but people have trashed them with thousands of cans and trash. I took a 6 hour trek yesterday and found five 1970's pennies. I have no other places I can go that haven't been previously searched (by others) or developed by modern society. PLEASE HELP!!!!
@NathanielCatch ...All you had to do is look threw my videos..There are plenty of ideas...I even made one for" beginers...Questions Finally answered".... Here...I normally like to see people do thier own research...But I'll PM you something
@NathanielCatch ....99% of the places we have found silver..Have been hunted hard, and are very trashy...If you want the goodies...Your going to have to put up with diggin the trash...Cause the goodies are still hiding there & masked by all that trash..
heres one for ya,the people that wore that dime down, are buried just like that kanuuk dime was, silver is silver,i went to hunt 'JENKINS FERRY CIVIL WAR PARK'sunday, nothin but mud mud mud..........and tin cans from litterbugs, ive been a little spoiled since my 43 walking half dig a couple of months ago/dfx300...ill be watchin!
this is awesome! very interesting. :D thanks sending the video. i love learning something new and learning about something I know nothing about. this was great for that. very cool.
Don't know if someone already told you but what Greg has there is a Victoria dime. They were made until 1901 so chances are it's from the 1800s. Nice finds both of you.
Great day out in the woods again you blokes, watching Greg in those bushes, that's what its all about, hunting where other's won't go LOL. Top stuff Dave, have a great 2012! GL and HH.
Congratulations, Dave n Greg, your shared a very entertaining couple of hunts. Always nice when silver is located, along with those indians and wheaties. Just goes to show that you can do the same areas over again and still find some little treasures. Happy New Year 2012 to both and your families. GL & HH :D
Hm... How much money did you find over your entire hobby? Ah... I wish i had a metal detector. I think its cheaper to build one, and I understand the concept of it so i just might one day.
@AmericanCoinHunting It's a pretty interesting hobby. Better than collecting them from just finding them when you get them as change as I do. I do have a hobby and that is storm chasing, and high voltage fun. :D I know you can shrink a quarter to dime size, but I don't know how but I know it's possible using HV! It's a good hobby. Shows the opposite gender who's really boss of the world.
I just need to ask I've be watching your videos for almost a year and I see you in the forest a lot getting silver. Do you go there by old maps or just pick a random site?
Two more good hunts Dave. Man, you guys hunted for a long time on that second hunt. I went out with Scott today for a woods hunt also only the woods were a lot thicker! We had a good hunt too. Congrats to you and Greg!
The Queen Victoria on (Your Coin) is from 1850's. The mature Queen Victoria is on 1890's coins. King Edward is on 1902-1910, King George V is 1911-1936, King George VI is 1937 -1952, Queen Elizabeth II when she was young is 1953-1964, Middle aged Queen Elizabeth II is on 1965-1989 and the Older Queen Elizabeth II is on Today's coins... Great find !!
You guys must have forearms made of steel to carry around and swing an E-Trac for 10hrs...lol. It's all I can do to go for 5 or 6 hrs at a time. Maybe I need to hit the gym. Congrats on your finds!
We were off today & made a New years day metal detecting video that will upload in March...Hope you guys were able to get out & Detect today as well Kyle & hope you had some good luck as well !
You guys are the best at what you do for sure. I know what you mean Dave about the shifting roots moving coins around and going back over the same places. Awesome year man! HH
this is the best time of year for woods hunting. no bugs & ticks, no snakes (for those afraid of them) & the underbrush is thinned out. it's my favorite type of hunting & I enjoy watching your woods hunts.
Thanks Dave, and you are right..Hunting the woods in the summer is misserable...Alot more accesable now..Thanks for watching & We look forward to your 2012 hunts.
Not a year end hunt Tony...I still have a dozen videos I have not uploaded cause I didn't have time...I'll probably still be uploading my 2011 hunts well in to March..Just didn't have time before..Now with winter on..I have a little more leasure time..Instead of Metal Detecting..I'll spend that leasure time uploading my 2011 hunts..Thanks for watching
Another great hunt and good finds to go with it.Wonder how one side is worn smooth and the other is not on that canadian dime....still a good find -- Happy Hunting
Nice finds for great hunt...Dave is a happy hunter! Sounded like these woods were a hobo camp being as it is so near the railroad; gotta love it...always an interesting video of your hunts; Thank you!
Sweet hunt dudes :)
