About the old 3D movies, The reason why they didnt catch on was that they wherent in coulor, those red/blue glasses gave only a scale of brightness (like black and white, but red/blue as white). I gues people prefered coulors over 3D :/

But hey, tiny screens have been around for long enough, this should have been out 10 years ago

@PotatisSlottet it can be even longer...for instance, my dad worked in the computer industry for a very big brand company, he was a parts repair manager...He told me that in around 1884-86ish he was shown a 4gb disk that blew them all away, they were still working with 4mb floppies. these were not released until whenenever it was, but they sold millions of tapes and tape players first. Then cd,s and cd players, and only later, 4gb dvd disks. I think there was around 10 years in that wait!!!

Wow, welcome to 1996. LOL Virtual IO has been making affordable 3D VR "i-Glasses", head trackers, pinch gloves,etc since the mid 90s. I bought a whole setup minus the glove for only $650 back in 1996. Fun, but gives you nasty headaches with prolonged use. My favorite game to play was Star Fox 64 on the N64. There were a few computer games that could actually make use of the head tracker, like Star Craft, but they made you completely nauseous and disoriented. Definitely NOT the future of gaming.

@Cotif11 - Sorry, but the V-Boy was a ripoff of Virtual IO's 3D "i-Glasses". A real piss poor one at that considering theirs had 800x600 resolution and full color, Nintendo's cheap rip off only had ~one~ color, was HUUUUGE, weighed a ton and was horribly uncomfortable, not to mention more expensive.

Their current model though makes this Sony PoS look like a blustering, bloated biotch by comparison and theirs is only $300 and can operate for 3.5 hours off a battery, works with anything.
