@MulticoloredFishs You're one in a million. The hundreds of people in the queue, at all times, of all ages, is a testament to how fantastic this ride is. Tallest wooden racer in the world, voted number 1 in North America, surpassing Magic Mountain's X2 (I know it's just a stupid online thing but still)... no visit to La Ronde is complete without at least one ride on both tracks. Stick to the bumper cars, maybe?

Good to see they still "race" two trains. There are some days where they only run one track due to population in the park. But the whole splendor of a dual-track coaster is racing side by side. In this ride video, the operator should have been tweaking the time the trains were released from the station. They should be cresting the lift hill at the same time!  It's not difficult - if the operator cared.

I don't think the ride is stable enough to do that anymore. It already shakes when they aren't running side-by-side, so doing that will probably cause the ride to collapse.

Le monstre, c'est la montagne russe parfaite. Personellement, moi je capote tout le long de la file d'attente parce que ca bouge. Pis là tout le monde autour rit de moi.

Mais sinon, le mélange de "tabarnac ca va péter", la beauté des deux différents parcours... les chaines au milieu qui retiennent la structure. Définitivement ma montagne russe préférée. Même si je suis resté pognée pendant 20 minutes dans la côte de la montée.

@IAlwaysWin75 Buddy you need to calm down. This is one is Wooden you cant compare this to steel roller coaster. Obviously the steel ones are way more fun. Have you been on the La Ronde's Goliath. This was an awesome roller coaster. its 175 feet. 68 miles per hour. It was teh fastest, tallest and highest roller coaster in Canada, until the Behemoth in Wonderland. I guess what you're talking about is ones in America. I don;t think , then, this roller coaster was in teh same category as yours.

But the thing is, Le Monstre beat the other three to win the Tournament of Thrills, and I was pissed because obviously this is nowhere near as good as they are, and I heard that La Ronde set up computers next to the ride to have people vote for it, which is horrible sportsmanship, but I shouldn't care too much, it's just some online tournament. I just needed to let of some steam, lol.

It's EPIC. It's my favorite ride at La Ronde (no 2 is the best). The centrifugal force is you experience in this ride is unbeatable and the speed with the wooden structure is amazing. I've been going on this ride for years and never get tired of it.
