  • That's not a double dribble. If you know basketball then you should know that.

  • thats why this homo isnt in the NBA anymore..

  • actually it is a double dribble at 0:04 he touched the ball and had possession of the ball before 0:04.

  • he didnt double dribble or travel, stole the ball and got possession of it, bounced once and then finished the play with a two step layup

  • Wasn't double dribble... but I think he traveled.

  • hahah what the fuck, TORTOISE and the hare hahahaha wtf? i thought is was a turtle

  • btw if u play basketball thas not dubble dribble lol he stole it first and held i with 2 hands before dribble. if u dribbled then held it with 2 hands then thats dubble dribble

  • It's Allen Iverson. He can do anything, OK?

  • ummm considering this play was TOTALLY legal, this video should be renamed "first ever one-dribble coast to coast layup."

  • It sounds like hes saying at the beggining of the video,"a fuck race the tortise and the hair"

  • legal

  • † A.I †

  • this is the dumbest vid ever. ever. ever. ever. ever.

  • @quadence ...right? simply wasted their time making this video, because its not a double dribble lol

  • The first time he touched he tipped the ball. He didn't really have possesion so he was allowed to grab it with both hands

  • not double dribble? LoL

  • That's a double dribble in the hood, and if you disagree prepare for an ass whooping

  • Non il a marche

  • where's the double? He got to dribble at least TWICE to even be "able" to meke a double... but i only count 1...

  • he was gettin control of the ball

  • I've had that called on me in games...

  • how is that a double?

  • does it matter, he didnt even need to hold the ball first.

fuckign hate cunts that look for minor blemishes mistakes to kill the game

  • Double dribble all the way. Go refs

  • nah thats not double

  • lol stealed by iverson

  • @avaiae steal* by iverson

  • @fuckthedumb Nah bro, the announcer said stealed by iverson.

  • most of these players either dont go to college or dont learn shit besides basketball while their there. dont expect much more from the announcers lol

  • @avaiae "steal by iverson"

lol fail attempt at being a grammar nazi

  • @avaiae Stole.

  • @patrickli804 -.- I was saying that it sounded like he said stealed..... come on, you're like the 10th person to do this, that's why I said lol, stealed by Iverson. I thought he said STEALED instead of steal. But the joke is now ruined because I explained it...

  • @avaiae he doesn't say stealed he says steal by iverson you dumbass

  • @jordankung23 SERIOUSLY, FUCK YOU. I was just joking so don't call me a dumbass because it was a JOKE. I have had 5 separate people take offense for some weird ass reason that I don't comprehend, but seriously just lay the hell off! It's a joke....

  • @avaiae go learn some grammar you dip-shit

  • @jordankung23 Ok first thing that is wrong with that, I'm pretty sure you should've said go learn some grammar skills, because that doesn't make a whole lot of sense (at least in my mind). But I do have fantastic grammar skills, but you're forgetting this is Youtube. Don't be a little bitch because I called you out for being an arrogant dick. Seriously what did you accomplish by insulting me in your first post when all I did was make a joke!

  • @avaiae haters gonna hate

  • @jordankung23 he knows it wuz wrong he was saying that because it sounded like the announcer said stealed my iverson

  • @avaiae *facepalm* he said, "Steal by Iverson".

  • @wickedskaman Dear god, it was just a joke, I knew what he said

  • fuck lakers

  • @prieto2409 how about fuck you

  • no double

  • bynum jumping up in the air for air

  • not double. he didnt have control of the ball before the grab and dribble

  • no y i know my calls

  • just playing he didnt dribble before he touched the ball stuid u blind...

  • its double he touched it with 2 hands u blind

  • @ohustle5o4o i hold the ball with two hands before i dribble. is that a doube too?

  • @ohustle5o4o lol

  • Not a double at all kid.

  • you are only can take two steps when out of the paint and when your in the paint you can use three.and thats not a double dribble when

  • whoa i think this is a double dribble, and a travel too

  • this is fucking retarted

  • whoever said this was a double is retarded

  • He didn't double dribble or travel.

If you think he double dribbled you obviously know nothing about basketball. You probably think he was off sides too.

  • That is not a double dribble or a travel.

Anyone who says thats a double dribble obviously doesn't know anything about basketball. You probably think he was off sides too.

  • soooo not double dribble. to the other queers who do think its a double? stick to watching the lakers you fake ballers

  • thats not a double it was a loose ball so he could pick it up and dribble again

  • ur fucked . he only dribbled once

  • legal

  • not a double dribble he knock the ball out of his hand

  • Hndi yun double dribble ksi naisteal nya kya tumalbog pagkatapos kinuha nya ng dalawang kamay at nagdribble

  • you diss allen iverson?!?!? you a d bag

  • CRAB DRIBBLE

  • that wasnt double dribble, however it was travel. first touch was a steal, so not his possession, then as he tried to control it, held the ball in one hand, took three steps before his other hand touched it (no dribble in that time, so no its not double dribble) then grabbed the ball with both hands and continued to dribble for the shot.

  • @RolyatProduction you are seriously a fucking idiot.

  • @st3nkobe do you even know the rules? :/ im a basketball ref, and what i said was correct. watch carefully what happens in the video.

Besides in nba the rules are tweaked to regular competition basketball to make it more of a show..

  • @RolyatProduction Okay ref?

    Up to HOW MANY STEPS?????

  • @st3nkobe in normal basketball competition, over two steps once initiated a pivot foot is travel. in nba ruling, travel is simply taking an advantage over the opponent by not dribbling.

  • @RolyatProduction Its UP TO THREE STEPS u fucking idiot u arent a ref if you dont know that.

  • @st3nkobe no, its up to two steps once a pivot foot has been initiated, then you may take two steps. the moment your pivot foot has been put on or taken off the ground more then twice is travel. your saying you can take three steps and have it not called travel? lmfao

  • @RolyatProduction Its UP TO THREE STEPS refs all know that

  • @st3nkobe i just explained the rule, shut the fuck up yea? idiottt..

  • @st3nkobe it's up to about 5 steps in the nba... but it's really only 2

  • @2young2play The RULE is up to three

  • @st3nkobe what's this RULE? cause i just googled how many steps may you take in basketball without dribbling and it said 2

  • @2young2play God wtf would someone else who really knows ball back me on the up to three steps shit this fool is a ratard

  • he just steal then hold the ball and make a dribble

  • if he wouldnt have just stolen it, that wouldnt even be a double dribble but a carry, but in this case i think its legal...

  • BS that was double dribble: he stole it, took a dribble, touched it with both hands took a couple more and made it

  • @sanosuke413

Where in HELL do you see him taking a dribble? Wow dude get some fucking glasses.

  • @4mped yo chill, wtf is wrong with u?! u dont need to act like ur havin ur period. u couldve just explained it like ItsMikeyyyg. so calm down guy

  • @sanosuke413

You can at least act like you know the game, and understand the concepts instead of posting idiotic comments, and FYI ItsMikeyyyg posted his comment over 3 months ago, if you saw how ItksMikeyyyg explained it before commenting, we wouldn't have to be wasting our time.

  • @4mped ok fine whatever. i admit i was wrong after noticing that guys comment. congratz

  • it was double dribble what u people looking at he steals the ball clearly has it with his right hand was looking straight foward n for some reason put his left hand on the ball n dribbled again n honestly looks like a walk to but the video is to fast anyways its the nba they dont call anything anymore EVERY1 carries now !!

  • wasnt ...

  • he stripped the ball, grabbed it, dribbled and finished with a lay up. nice play by #3

  • clever way of wording this thus the AIn't

  • he touch the ball with both hands then dribbled again! double dribble!

  • IT was a double, you dumbfuck

  • lemme break it down

    1. loose ball

    2. steal

    3. dribble and finish

    bottom line...no double dribble

  • it wasn't a steal until he had possession

so until he two-handed it it was still (technically) Lakers ball

so its no possible way for a double dribble

  • stripped the ball, grabbed it and dribbled

  • Did he ever say it was a double?

  • Not a double-dribble he didn't have possesion of the ball when he stole it

  • no, that is not~he steal the ball and it goes down the floor. That should not count for dribble

  • Read the discription idiots.

  • fak you, that aint a double dribble, or a travel.

  • thats not a double dribbele

  • could have been a travel

  • first touch was to gain proper possesion of the ball... so doesnt count as double dribble

  • Comment removed

  • m8 learn to read the discription he never said it was double dribble... idiot

  • this shit is epic,AI was a beast

  • hell no..

  • sorry but thats not a double dribble

  • Touching on the steal doesn't count.

  • No double dribble here

  • Dude, that wasn't even close to double dribble. The first part of the video was a steal, then he caught it, then dribbled.

  • im European and a think this is not double drib.

  • not a double... perfectly legal

  • @xxxtheoneringxxx i see what your saying is it because when he knocked it out his hand he began to dribble?

  • Learn basketball rules guys.

The first touch was "loose ball" as in, he did not have clear possession - it was a steal.

The second the ball came back to his hands (2 hand grab) it became official possession of the ball. Thus, not a discontinue.

  • @ItsMikeyyyg makes sense

  • @ItsMikeyyyg ehh i dont know duude it seemed stable when he toucht it the first time

  • @ItsMikeyyyg thank u!!!!!

  • @ItsMikeyyyg it would be a travel at least. from the second time he touches the ball to the first time he dribbles he takes 3 steps.

  • Haha! Just tryin to help you out. Don't say noob when you're talking bout basketball. they wont take you seriously

  • your right it ain't? he knocked it away (no possesion) then picked it up (possesion) and took a dribble. so your right it deffinatly ain't a double dribble

  • its when he picked it up fucken dumb asses damn u guys must fucken play ping pong or sum shit

  • this person cant play basketball he dnt noe his calls lol

  • @GlobalGabe your face looks like a double dribble

  • Obviously not even close to a double. No arguement. But, I can see how people who don't understand the basics (retards) could get confused.

  • wow if u think thats a double ur retarded. he didnt have posession of the ball. he hit it one hand, it bounced, he caught it and dribbled. thats not a double.

  • It wasn't double dribble...The first time the ball bounced was because he swatted the ball away from the Laker player's hands. dumbasses

  • thats not a double dribble u daft twat

  • ok first of all its not a dd becuz he touched for like 1 sec not like 3 secs soo u feel stupid and second of all if it was add da ref wudv called it

  • Thats not a double dribble

  • not a double

  • idiots, thats not a double dribble, learn to play the game...

  • exactly thtas not a double!

  • not a dbl dribble!

  • No double dribble

  • he didnt have ball controll.

  • no double dribble
