  • One of my favorite movies of all time. Never get tired of this western...awesome!!

  • haha I love it how half the time the guy doesn't have the noose around his neck when he is standing on the cross.

  • Excellent movie, I remember my old man telling me when I was a kid: there will never be a better movie than this one.. I read that Sergio Leone started as an assistant to big name american western directors, it was in 1 of those films that he met Lee Van Cleef... About d cemetery, Production hire some spanish soldiers to build d graves, they finish in 2 days... After this movie Leone offered Clint another movie but Clint decline cause he said Sergio really push his actors to d limit.

  • The seven people that dislike this video should stand on a cross & put their head on a noose.

  • @prt61370 ha ha ha

  • Does he really say "just a dirty mother^@#@er", but they looped it later to something not as nasty?

  • one of the most epic movies ever

  • I remember seein this on the big screen at the theartres wow its was so cool it was 2.25 to see it, popcorn and a soda was 1.75 it was a awesome movie to see back in the day I had heard Lee van Cleef and Eastwood became good friends while making this film Van Cleef told Eastwood " Son you will make a great star someday" lol very true Van Cleef bio he was a gentle and quiet man and was a true Hollywood Legend RIP Van Cleef and thanks for the movies

  • Well now, just like old times. 4 for you, and er, 4 for me.

  • Looks like an Andulusian, not an Arabian horse.

  • one of my fav films

  • Let the Bullet talk............

  • I always wondered what Tuco was going to do after Blondie shot the noose and rode off. I mean he is at a cemetery stuck in the middle of a nowhere desert probably miles from the nearest town. I supposed he would have to hide the 4 bags of gold and come back for it later since he couldn't carry it.

  • @gmccord1970 He had Angel Eye's horse.

  • @ZippoMontefiore I thought blondie road off with it. Didn't angel eyes have a black Arabian horse? If I remember correctly both Tuco and Blondie walked to the cemetery after the battle.

  • @gmccord1970 Oh yeah, you're right. I guess Tuco had a point in being a little pissed off, then.

  • Tuco was the main character

Notice how they showed him alone walking around and stuff

but they never showed Clint Eastwood alone

  • wanted dead or alive

  • goooooood:-)

  • One of the greatest movies of all time. They don't make movies like that any more :(

  • Hey Blondie!...You Know What You Are!...

Just A Dirty Son Of A.....

  • "the good"?

    how about the fuckin man!?!

  • the best!

  • lol when Clint first tied him up, he was actually standing up there...with a real rope around his neck...in cowboy boots. I'm sure he wasn't in any danger but todays snowflake actors would insist on a bluescreen and a cgi rope. That's classic to me...gritty realism that had nothing to do with cinema...like how Charles Bronson would do his own stunts. Good ol' Tuco...he's the best.

  • Old Western Music~

    Primal SKy "Caballero Del Mar"

    youtube: Rola La Ola

  • Good eyes Its someone walking from right to left in the background

  • did anybody else notice the thing moving in the background over tuco's right (veiwer's left side) shoulder starting at 4:03? any thoughts on what it is?

  • i think there are just some people going..

  • IT'S BIGFOOT!!!

  • One of the greatest scenes in cinema. When Tuco rises the noose is there. Quite simple but how prolific!

  • Ha! This is a great scene from a great movie. I thought of this scene when I saw footage of Saddam Hussien being hung. "Dubyaaa! Do you know what you aaarrrre!" Ha! Don't let that joke fool you. I'm not a fan of W or our foreign policy.

  • Tuco when from Ecstasy to Hell within a few seconds. a shame he didn't get best Actor for his role.

  • y does every1 seem to think ts dirty :-S its CLEARLY GREATESTTT...PERIOD!

  • Italian director and Italian composer can produce a better (best) western than american directors and composers!!!!

  • Yes is just and Morricone composed more 1000 Music Films

  • when tuco saw that noose, he bout shit his pants!

  • When this movie ended.... It gave me an empty feeling. A feeling that I need to see how they are going to continue. It just gives an empty feeling. That feeling isn't nice. I mean I love this movei it's legendary and great at the same time but the ending is empty. Who gets the same feeling?

  • lol..Tuco spent his money in a month, on booze and women...or maybe he took it to his brother to help the church and changed his ways?...haha

  • Don't focus on the ending. Focus on the departure from the church, when a recovered Blondie and Tuco are about to ride off to resume the adventure after Gold. Blondie lights 2 cigars, gives one to Tuco. And both are smiling and heading off to pursue the GOLD !!!!!

  • I think that's part of the point of the movie. If you want a warm and fuzzy feeling at the end clint and tuco would've went and had a beer together. All its saying is that things are the way they are and some things don't change. ie the end between the two and also how they cross paths with the civil war. That's why i love this movie

  • best movie ever

  • superb movie...........

  • BY FAR the best western movie ever produced period.

  • Hey Blond!

    You know what you are!?

Just a dirty son of a

    AAIIAAAAIAAHHHH!!!

  • yeaa !

It's my favorite part of the movie ;)

  • @davedetrick

if u like that bit ull like me vid look at my channel then look at

how the good the bad and the ugly should have ended

  • BLOOONDIIEEEE!!!!!!

  • one of the best films ever? its definitely up there!!!

  • The BEST western EVER!

  • its no joke. its a rope, Cheney. now i want you to stand up there and put your head in that noose.

  • Comment removed

  • it was part of a documentary on sky, marksmen something

  • too cool. Thid whole movie, noting clome lcose...

  • fuckin a man.....

  • ha. dude could a good shooter do it from a horse. i think not. clint is the only one!!!!!!!!!!!

  • R.I.P. Lee Van Cleef

  • ONE OF A KIND

  • AAaaaaAAAAAAA

    loled at the end

  • western masterpiece

  • The Tango 51 Sniper rifle maintains its accuracy at 1100 yards. A good shooter could hit a rope with one, but that thing has an amazing scope on it. Of course only Clint could pull it off with such a primitive weapon.

  • yep i think its 10000000000000 harder to hit that rope with clwith the tango 51

  • LOL strat... He was aiming for his head. SMSpear, It's more probable that aliens exist than not. Surely there is at least some bacteria or fungus on another planet. Culcun you're so right. I thought hang em high was absolute trash.

  • This is probably the most classic one of them all--none, not even the other Clint Eastwood starring spag westerns were as classic or epic as this one--none!! Absolutely the best western ever!!!

  • The greatest action movie of all time.

  • So you'd be William Muny outta Missouri-Killed women and children...

I noticed that when you get to DISLIKING someone, they ain't around for long either.

Nasty habit, young fella-You born in a barn?

You know what you are? Just trash. A bottle of whiskey for courage, and the manners of a goat!

  • damn clint eastwood is a badass!

  • what the fuck??!!!!!

  • He was aiming for his head!

  • i want you to stand up there and put your head in that noose.

  • we all know that no one could hit the rope, not even clint, but it's a willing suspension of disbelief, an alienation of the audience, like in an alien movie or something. aliens don't exist, but we'll believe they do for the next hour and half or so.

  • You wanna bet someone could hit that rope.

  • well, Clint could, but "no one" doesn't apply to him.

  • Maybe your shooter sucked.

  • Um, documentary, one of the best shooters alive.

  • May be. . .who was he?

  • YEAH!!

    holy fuckin' shit!!!

    i love these films!!

  • its crazy how TUCO is such a dirty stinkin bastard... but his character is sooo damn loveable.... we like him so much... at the end.... u dont want him to die.... u want clint eastwood to come back and save him... and he does.... but its crazy how we feel the same way... like u dont want Tuco to die at the end...

  • your right!! eli wallach is such a brilliant actor that he makes the tuco character so likeable!! i wonder what they done with the money? blondie probably bought a massive ranch somewhere and settled down, tuco on the other hand i dont know about lol.

  • Tuco spent it on whores and booze!

  • lol your probably right!!

  • this is pure genius, sergio leone and ennio morriconne at there best!!!!!

  • You fuckin hit right on the money!!!!

  • I don't get why he put his head in the noose in the first place, or the whole point of Clint Eastwood putting him in the noose then shooting him out- was it to scare him or something?

  • if u watch the whole movie it makes sense... they both almost get killed by being on a noose.... tuco actually gets hung on a noose like... 3 or 4 times during the whole movie... AWESOME MOVIE! ... also...Clint dosent trust tuco....

  • Ah ok I get it. I haven't seen the entire movie but I have seen most of it. I guess I should watch the whole thing!=)

  • Simple. Neither trusts the other. So Blondie's idea is to put some safe distance between himself and Tuco before cutting Tuco loose!

  • it's more as a lil punishment for Tuco running away with the horses and breaking the promise earlier.

Blondie's kind reaction towards Tuco throughout because of the scene where he spied upon Tuco and his brother tragic talking

  • I so love that guitar part @ 0:16

  • Blondie. you know what you are?!?!

    You're a big son of a B - Ayeeeeayahhhhh!!!

    Classic

  • bravo

  • Oh tuco, you crazy bastard

  • it was shot in italy thats why its called a spaghetti western

  • it was shot in spain and its called spaghetti western because the director was italian and so was the production crew

  • the entire cre ate spaghettis

  • i got a question...whats with this owning people bullshit....i'm always hearing people say somebody owns somebody....what the hell does that mean?...

  • it means someone got the best of someone else.

  • no Clint Eastwood has actual legal possession of you.

  • i think after what they went through they gre to like each other and became friends...blondie didn't keep all the money...he gave tuco his fair share...finally the first honerable deed of the movie...

  • And what do you think with that kind of music: amon tobin slowly for this duel sequence?

    watch?v=bPgc95-SYYU

  • im not good at understanding movies, but what was the point of hanging him to just shoot him down, don't get me wrong, it was awsome, but.=S

  • well if u watched the whole film u get it because that was there scam, hes winding him up

  • Earlier in the film Clint and Tuco had a scam going. Tuco was always worth a reward, dead or alive so Clint would fetch him in to different towns. As Tuco was about to hang in the gallows, and face his end, Clint (having pocketed the reward) would shoot the rope from afar and the two would ride out of town, reward and all in the saddle bags. So its the directos way of ending the film by showing they have come full circle as a pair. time to part, but Client just wants one more shot at the rope.

  • sort of his way of scaring Tuco. Tuco mistreat him earlier in the film too after their scam relationship soured. So its also a payback.

  • Tell you what, you would have to watch yourself running across those rough cobble stones as Tuco does full pelt with hands tied behind the back at 5.14. Gosh, one trip and no face.

  • blondieeeeeeeeeee

  • Nobody handles a horse like Clint in a western. 2:39 is so smooth.

  • Good film man, can'nt beat the good old stuff!!!!!!

  • for some reason ive never forgoten the name arch stanton its etched in my brain and i first saw this brilliant film in the 70s

  • Arch Stanton. Yes - I know what you mean.

  • Just a dirty son of a bitch!!!

  • It's no joke, it's a rope Tuco.

  • i love the sound it makes when it shows blonde with the rifle and it says the good and it makes that cool whistle noise

  • Best western movie ever. Too bad they don't make movies like this anymore. I always liked action movies in which the heroes use more brains than brawn.

  • Oh Blondie magnificent 7 out of 10.

  • Me llamo Javier.

  • MADE IN ITALY

  • mostly shot in Gran Canaria

  • ITALY

  • sorry pal, Spain actually with the grave yard scene shot near Burgos, the rest of the trilogy was shot on spanish soil too. Check out Wikipedia if you dont believe me, i went to check because i thought somehow i had made a mistake and you were right but no, it was you who had made the error, tata

  • tsj73 - I beg to disagree - mostly filmed in Southern Spain around Tebernas and Calahora railway station with the battle at the end (and all of Sad Hill) south east of Burgos. Gran Canaria?

  • sorry youre right , but i think some was shot in G. Caneria, anyway what about the twat who recons it was shot in Italy, hehehehe

  • It was. That's what I heard.

  • it was what? shot in Italy? NO IT WASNT LOOK IT UP! OR WATCH THE DVD AND CHECK OUT THE LOCATIONS ON THE END CREDITS, BALLBAGS, THE LOT OF YOU!!!

  • Best scene ever made!!!

  • Blonde - you son of a bitch ;)

  • cont'd

Tuco tries to hang Blondie, so Blondie makes Tuco go through the motions and even lets him strangle a little before shooting him down...it's worth noting of course that Tuco is the more homicidal.

  • Tuco must have been confused as hell when he saw that No Name really was leaving him his share of the gold. That would be an expensive irony.

    It's such a great ending not only because of what reddo99 said about its practicality, but because it puts a finishing touch on the way they keep one-upping each other: Blondie abandons Tuco in the navigable desert, so Tuco does him one better and marches him out into the deadly desert;

  • El mejor sin duda ! gracias

  • That was a 600 yard shot! My uncle Billy could shoot like that.

  • Bloondiieee!!! Argh.

Just amazing, Eli Wallach stole in his performance. I really like the bastard of Tuco

  • clint eastwood owns all of you.

  • "Sorry Tuco." LOL That's classic!

  • "Sorry Tuco."

That's right up there with "Jesus wept" in the ranks of the most sublime statements of all time.

  • Great call... great call......

"Just tie them up just long enough to get a safe away from their grimey desires and ride away forever with my fair share

  • BY THIS COMMENT, I RECOGNISE the MISTAKE THAT I HAVE MADE ABOUT MISTER ENNIO MORICONE HE IS NOT DEAD HE IS STILL IN LIFE and i am happy. APOLOGISE ME MISTER ENNIO MORICONE YOU ARE A GREAT ARTISTE.THANKS TO JERRARAS

  • Sergio leone, Ennio moriconne and lee van cleef are dead. Eli wallach IS 93 years old and Clint Estwood is 80 years old but the film they made in 1966 is still the great and the best one.

  • morricone's dead? when?

  • Morricone is still alive.

  • the.good.the.bad.and.the.ugly

  • eli wallach is such the best actor(near lee van cleef and ..of course..clint eastwood)in this great western movie

    thx for posting:-)

  • Love it , great film, great actors.

  • Tuco his very cool I like hem lolollolo

  • Hey Blonde, you know what you are?!!!! Just a dirty son of a...ahhh ahhh ahhhh!!!!

  • Man alive, I wish I could do that to half of the people I know; Just tie them up just long enough to get a safe away from their grimey desires and ride away forever with my fair share. Of course you only earn the title of "Good" if you come back like big Clint and cut the bastard loose.

  • Blondie it's all ours! Well now, seems just like old times...Poor Tuco!...This scene will Haunt you!

ifyouaskmee blogspot - Lets Go Get A Drink & Smoke A Cigarette

    theElf

  • Now wouldn't you people agree that this is one of the best westerns ever made

  • I don't agree this is one of the best movies ever made. This IS the best movie ever made.

  • oh shitt^^

  • Aaaaagggghhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

To the person who posted this: Why did you cut it off right before the point where Tuco's "-just a dirty son of a ******" line gets gets drowned out by the music? That's the best freakin' part of the scene!!!!!!!!!!!

  • it s a sad that the Sad Hill cemetery is different than the days in wich Good, Bad Ugly was filmed.... you can hardly tell that it s actualy a cemetery

  • why we would care how Sad Hill looks in real today ?

  • Because unlike some people we might actually care about our dead ancestors and think that they should be respected and not have the cemetery changed on them

  • again, what does that have with his movie ?

  • That is where the film was placed Duh

  • Yes, but the fact the place doesnt exist doesnt make anything different with movie, capish ?

  • It's not a real cemetery, doof.

  • The world fears Chuck Norris. Chuck Norris fears Clint Eastwood...
