I have to agree that it wasn't an amazing save, since it was down the middle, but the thing is that most of the time keepers will choose one way and dive that way, so the chances of blocking the ball are slim, so all you retards out there saying " I'm better," or " that sucked" or "he should of just stayed in the middle" shut the hell up and learn how to play soccer. Geez, especially if you have never played goal keeper before, that was a pretty good save and no one should be denying it!!!!!!!!!
@sesshomaruAA: YES!!!!! everyone thinks that when a goal is scored, it's the goalkeeper's fault! i'm a goalkeeper, and i can tell you right now that it is not. 9 times out of 10 its the defenses fault. if there's a breakaway and someone's coming at you with the ball at top speed, there's not much you can do! it was a really good save, especially because saving shots from 12 yards is EXTREMELY hard to do!
Actually, that is a good save, and that little step to the side is a trick alot of keepers use to make the pk taker change his mind, good work...and its alot better than being in the back of the net, if he was your keeper u wouldnt be tellin him that was a bad save.

acually yeah i have been playing keeper for about ten years there chief i'm the region IV odp keeper as well as my school varsity. i wasnt saying that it wasnt a good save cause that was good reflexes all i'm saying is that he could have been able to read it better by the hips and made the easy catch instead of giving up a corner.

but you do know that they work with the shooters so they don't give away any signs of where their going to shoot? so the hips might not have told him anything. and the keeper was pretty young too. he probably acted on instinct and thought later.

you've never played keeper, have you. its not that simple. 12 yards is quite close to the goal, and at that point, there's not much you can do.
