  • Frances is my AP gov teacher lol

  • This is all warm & fuzzy but we've tried this sort of thing before and it's limiting and it doesn't work. It has never worked - remember the newspaper ads in the 90's?

I'm ready for big voices and I'm ready to fight back".

    Expose the lies dead on.

Enough of the cries of "reverse bigotry" and enough of the BS they tell about us. The only ones taking it up the arse right now is US.

  • gah. I'm 100% for gay marriage, but please don't resort to this kind of plea. It won't change the minds of anyone, which is what needs to be done. Ground your arguments in the legal and the logical.

  • 7Lexo, you'll probably get people including myself saying that you appear to be hateful, ignorant, arrogant, self-righteous, prejudiced or straight supremacist. Everyone is free to have their opinion, and I respect this right to freedom, but when people vote to take away civil rights from others in the face of our constitutional rights to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, then I think that is crossing a line, and those people should be called out for their bigotry.

  • @7Lexo, we all get what you meant. You want to start a fight while claiming not to start a fight. Typical.

  • Why would anyone accuse you of being "insensative" [sic]? You just suggested gays should be removed from America and shipped away to an island.

  • Maybe the southern states should have gotten their own island instead of causing a civil war. Then they could've kept their slaves...

  • Maybe the usa will 'get another island like PR':

    1.that doesnt make sense

    2. leave Puerto Rico out of your anti-gay marriage rants, please. maybe you do not agree, ok, but PR can hold its own; people do not NEED to be there to live & love they can be wherever they want; its people like you that are living in the past. you have to open your eyes, times are changing. people are loving & living & they shouldnt be discriminated for it

tal vez si tu sabia ya mierda, yo no tendria que decirle a ti

  • i wish more people had her heart and understanding.

  • 5 stars. :)

  • I think this is a solid ad that shows gay families in a positive light. That said, I wonder if the ad can be improved by the following:

    (1) Have LGBT people themselves speak prominently throughout the ad. Washington Ref 71 did this, and Maine Question 1 didn't in its 10 ads.

    (2) Talk about hardships faced from being denied marriage. Again, Washington did this, Maine didn't.

    (3) Illustrate the hardship in a way that relates to others. Santa Barbara did this in 2008, and they voted no on 8.

  • Well done.

  • Well done!

  • Ten Gold Stars - Thanks For posting

  • Now that is just sweet...
