  • Wait, where's the rest of it? I want 30 minute spicy italian sausage cassoulet!

  • why hasn't anyone done this already?

    skip to 1:45

  • Looked interesting but I couldn't get past the stupid commercials.

  • It's wonderful how he's constantly drooling while he talks about the food.

  • @skumletor hahahah you can hear him sucking his saliva up lol

  • Amazing, plain and simple.

  • Bah,I can't watch how he scratches his pans with a spoon or fork >.<

  • @Nadlen48 All TV chefs do that. They get a completely new set every episode, so they don't care if it gets messed up.

  • lemon and mozzarella : ACID

  • If mainstream t.v. cooking shows were more about teaching and less about entertainment I have no doubt that I would have heard about Jacques Pepin long before now.

  • man that ham is moist and dripping not like what we have here

  • lets start with the sellout lol

  • Realy? Commercial?

  • zucchini

    tomatoes

    mozzarella

    lemon juice

    salt

    ground pepper

    EVOO

    parsley/chives/tarragon

  • j'adore!

  • I only just found this guy and hey, I love his stuff. Yay for cooking, yay for Pepin!!

  • He makes it look easy!!!

  • shit im so fucking hungry but i dont have any good food right now. shiiiiiiiit

  • Jacques Pepin is the best!!!!

  • I'm hungry ... *FALLS*

  • i love the way he cooks. it reminds me of how my grandmother cooks. nothing has to be perfect, just throw things in.

  • This guy epitomizes the word Chef. He's very talented and was, obviously, born to cook.

  • Ah one of my heros

  • I die a little bit (and go to heaven) when he says "sausage"! OMG! SO hungry!

  • I like the way Jacques Pepin talk, it's like he's salivating everytime when he says something. haha. He's my favorite French American chef next to Eric Ripert. = )

  • is there a part two to this vid?

  • So when does he mix in the zucchini? Just before serving? Under the tomatoes?

  • Jacques had a great cooking series with Julia Child, then he did one with his daughter which was fun to watch.

  • I prefer to listen to Jacques. Julia's strangled vowels drive me completely up the wall.

  • SO COOL TO WATCH THIS PRO-CHEF

  • lol he lives in my town, i no where his house is, it's acually really small. it's funny cuz i always see him in stop&shop

  • What a doll!!! He is very fine! Do read his autobiography...you'll see what a great human being he is in addition to being a fabulous French chef!

  • I love the simplicity of his newest recipes. Simple but good combinations. Seems like the older he gets the simpler his food has become. There's something soothing about watching him too. Wish I could be that relaxed in the kitchen. LOL

  • this man is the king! if it wasn't for him i don't know where food would be. the food network needs help!

  • I love Pepin's cooking so much, but his accent always amuses me.

  • Our dean at the FCI represent!!!

  • What an simple but visually interesting salad dish!

  • I love Mr. Pepin. I'm in my 50's and thought I knew it all. I have learned so much from him.

  • Best chef in the world.

  • je rendevouz

  • Oh Monsieur Pépin! You teach us so much! It looks delicious and comforting :D

  • I'll second that - bellbrett, nicely said. He also teaches you the technical side of cooking - which I appreciate.

  • Batwoman - why u are commenting like this unprompted says that acutally you are childish and hardly the woman you claim to be - except obviously u r batty. How completely unnecessary for your useless comments- especially here on a Vid about cooking.

  • He makes the best dishes! All of the other cooking shows are no match.

  • Even better is his series on techniques. They are not as fun to watch but if you want to really learn to be a great cook there is no one as incredible to learn from! The other celebrity chefs don't really share their best techniques like he does! (Which is why he won worldwide award for his book!)

  • I'd like to track that series down. Are you talking about a DVD or his Complete Method book? Thanks in advance.

  • I've been watching Jacques shows on PBS for yrs. Question, where do they air this fast food series. Also, you cut the video short of Jacques finishing his fast version of Casoulet.

  • were you born an idiot Jacques is a master.

  • jsn1981,

Instead of posting idiotic comments, watch Harold's video.

By the way.. Harold who? Oh, you mean that kid? Nahh thanks. I wan't to learn, not to be entertained.

  • Batowmann233,

I love you too sweetheart, Jacques rules!

  • pepin is awesome...almost a throwback. thanks for posting

  • Blessings to Monsieur Pepin, who shares more technique, creativity and enthusiasm for cuisine than any other living "celebrity" chef. The real agenda of many celebrity chefs is turning themselves into a brand name for profit. Pepin shares his skills to help us be more accomplished, more comfortable and more successful at the true goal of cooking: to enjoy our friends & family in the context of sharing a meal.

  • true

  • It looks so delicious and a much better alternative to traditional fast-food.

  • Jacques Pepin rocks.
