Whats up man- I really like this video, and have a similar mindset to what your talking about here. Im curious as to what you do as an occupation? Cheers
Awesome! You are a great inspirational speaker and encourager! Keep it up, and hopefully you can inspirer more south african youth, or any other south african in fact. They need hope, direction and purpose. There is one thing that I would add though, that all you say is possible with Christ! He is able to make all things possible in our lives, we need Him in order to make those changes, see those dreams and to reach the unreachable! Blessings
Hell man, this shit is going to far. Maybe white people (I am one) are better in governing countries and making ones prosper. But hell, I have to accept that many of my folks are really intolerant people. We invaded the country (South Africa), after doing that we enslave its original inhabitants. That is one big fuck up. It is the same as going to someones house and steal and be the owners boss. Hell, if we want to stay in South Africa then we must help the original ones.
egypt was an african creation, the didnt dominate.. but the greeks and romans who needed egypt to prosper and later also became great then chose to dominate and destroy everything different to them. THAT is european (white people) legacy, so dont dit there saying white pple can govern better. i admire your admittance at intolerance all the same. so i personally add to what u say and say white people can GET THE FUCK OUT OF SOUTH AFRICA if they are not happy being there. IT WAS NEVER URS.
Low aspirations in the young and fear of failure are a major issue here in the UK too. It's very hard to move up out of a lower social class to because of the system. South Africa doesn't suffer so badly in that regard, I wish I lived there instead sometimes.
Listen boet, you are one of the millions of reasons why South Africa is the crippled country that it is today. You need to stop smoking whatever it is you stuff down your pipe and grow up.
In your rediculous speach i'm sure you said: 'he's buying cars that I could like only afford when i'm like working, probably after like 30 or something....'
So you plan on starting work at the age of 30?? Typical....
South Africa needs people with healthy work ethic, not dreaming little boys like you.
Couldn't it be you're a little blinded by your own prejudices and that what he actually meant was to start working in the near future ( being 21 now) and only being able to buy a car at age 30? As opposed to his friend who is only 20 and can already afford a car? Think about it vriend.
Do you KNOW this guy by the way? I think you presume too much.
You presume ( or at least suggest) he's smoking pot, you presume he's planning to slack off until he's 30, you presume he doesn't have a healthy work ethic.
The pot smoking thing was a light hearted comment. That was obvious.
He's clearly a very young individual who has a extremely optimistic view of the disaster brewing in SA.
You are entitled to an opinion, and I value a respectful and dignified response like yours. If you don't feel like talking about it anymore; that's fine, but he needs to see life for what it is before distributing his gospel.
I guess you know more about the situation in SA than I do. I agree its not going the right way at all tough. If it goes on like this, SA will be the new zimbabwe imo.
So in the end I don't think our opinions differ that much.
I just think there's nothing wrong with being optimistic, as long as you don't forget the 80% hard work !
Dr.Dean helped start a Digital Revolution that created people like Microsoft's Bill Gates and Dell Computer's Michael Dell. Millions of jobs in information technology can be traced back directly to Dr. Dean. More important, stories like Dr. Mark Dean's should serve as inspiration for African children. Already victims of the "Digital Divide" and failing school systems, young, Black kids might embrace technology with more enthusiasm if they knew someone like Dr. Dean already was leading the way
We cannot be all what we want to be, that's impossible. We cant be all Obamas for instance. My friend there's one president and that how it is. We can't be all mayors, there's one mayor. What's important in life is to get a job that will feed your family and a job that will give you work until you're old. Unfortunately it doesnt mean that youd choose what you want.
I am speechless! You must have amazing people who love you & brought you up & encouraged you to be true to yourself.Kgosi you will have an amazing life because of your powerful mind & strength of human spirit! Don't ever loose this power you have! It would be truely a different world if more people had the character, determination, wisdom, open-mindedness and positive outlook which you are blessed with!I have no doubt that you will leave your gift on earth at the end of your spiritual journey!
homie, u speak wise words, uplifting, inspiring and deeply spiritual. you've got your head screwed on correct bruh, i think this vid will inspire alot of people who dont know were theyre going in life.... one love godbless south africa
great vid... you sound like Tony Robbins! i wouldnt be suprised if you became the greatest leader of S. Afrika!
once critisim.. at 4mins you say people "had a plan...but you chose to let it go."
i think one of the problems is that people actually dont have plans, or at least realistic obtainable plans. proper education thru parents, life and schooling is part of a masterplan...

What prejudices do I display?? Please enlighten me.
He talks a load of rubbish. To suggest that tallent is a small factor in the lives of people like C Ronaldo and R Branson, is unreal.
And he said: '...when I'm working in the future sometime when i'm 30 or so...'
If that's not clear enough then I don't know how to explain it any better.
aartappelgroot 2 years ago
And when you quote, do it fairly:
"...(his friend) can afford to buy cars that I would only begin buying once I'm working sometime in the future, when I'm probably 30 years old. "
You can interpret this sentence in two ways: either he indeed plans to start working at 30, either he means what I said he means.
Why the hell would his ambition be to bum out untill he's 30?! He's talking about realising dreams!
And why the hell am I defending a guy I don't even know? I'm out of here.
