Wow! Its been years since we filmed this commercial. We were the first to open many doors in the sport. I would like to see more kids get out there and have fun jumping Double Dutch.

This video features the world champion Fantastic Four double-dutch team who I am working with on a book about their experiences. I wrote a book about double-dutch and how it relates to learning musical blackness in US and hip-hop music culture. It also relates to the practice of sampling or oral-kinetic learning in black culture. My work in The Games Black Girls Play (NYU Press, 2006) won the best prize in my discipline of ethnomusicology

@sugarrrsmack Me too, I was NEVER that good. but I sure tried. But we did double dutch to this same McDonald's song back in the day. Seeing this makes me kinda miss the EARLY 80s.
