@Daggerspine107 That is not possible (you can't set ammo). I do have a gametype where you start with a flamethrower which you can drop leaving you with no weapon but it doesn't work on maps that don't have flamethrowers available in forge.

@Daggerspine107 all you can do is run a sword out of ammo, unless you have a JTAG then you could make the sword invisible but you would have to use splitscreen or system link a few JTAGs.

@MythbustersRule1 not this type of mod but some basic mods like extra elephants on sandtrap, shade turrets on snowbound, spawning spartans, elites, and forge monitors, some weapons ammo (ex. rocket launcher or needler), and a few other hidden items can all be used on a normal xbox. Look at my campaign save video for a cool campaign mod that can be played on a normal xbox.

@quintin8575 its all a mod, look around youtube for a while at different JTAG modding videos to get more of an idea about what it is. There are a lot of modern warfare 2 JTAG videos, including a few of mine.

@Nerfedchipchipmunk This is offline only on a JTAG so it doesn't matter what gamertag you use, you can even use the random temporary profiles halo gives you if you don't sign in.

@TheAmpedPancakes does alteration crash or does the map not load in Halo 3? It works in my alteration but I can't test Halo 3 right now, if your alteration doesn't work try downloading it again, you can get an exact copy of mine from that tut on how to use the patch. Also make sure that your map is unmodified if it is not, the quickest way to get a clean one is to copy just that map off of you disc unless you have fast internet, then you can download from xboxgamefiles(.)com

You need a JTAG or Dev Kit to use these. you can't use them on xbox live.

You could do what I did and fix an e74 or red ring of death xbox that didn't get the summer update then JTAG it, if you can get one for free it will cost you less than $20 to do the JTAG hack. then you can charge to host 10th prestige games to make up for that.

It has to be an xbox that didn't get the summer update so finding an old red ring or e74 is a good way to go, otherwise you will have to pay at least $200 on ebay just to get an exploitable box that you would still have to hack.

Basically you need to find an xbox that hasn't been connected to xbox live since before summer of 2009. working or repairable.

This is a .map mod there is no way to put this in a halo 3 file share or to play this on a non JTAG retail xbox. I could post download for patch for those with JTAGs or Dev Kits

if the xbox can JTAGed, you could play the mods (has not connected to live since before about June of 09 and hasn't been refurbished by Microsoft. If it is banned you might need to uncripple it before you can play (XeXLoader runs best off of the HDD).
