  • xD like the color selection...all the fallout 3 songs are so amazing...mainly the ink spots ones

  • i dont understand why all music cant be like this, soo happy and joyful

  • like it,it's sweet

  • A perfect soundtrack for blowing off the heads of several Super Mutants.

  • wow!!!! this is an amazing video for a wonderful song!!! thx by upload it!! XD

  • Lol, I'm eleven years old and I hip hop and pop and rap can to go in the trash! I'll keep this music please.

  • This makes me want some ice cold Nuka-Cola. : )

  • Hell Yeah Quantuum that shiiiiiiiit XD

  • THIS IS NOT '50s MUSIC. THIS IS '40s.

I am really tired with seeing people who insist everything is '50s music... This isn't even close. Shows how much they know...

  • Thanks to fallout 3 =)

  • i wish we had a radio station like galaxy *sigh* such good music

  • cool video :)

  • Fallout 3 made all these songs popular, Well atleast most of them.

  • This is only the ending section :(

  • i heard this song thanks to fallout 3

    super song ^^

  • Well, regardless of what type of music everyone likes and whether or not they heard WWII-era music before playing Fallout 3, it's nice to see that people still appreciate the music.

  • so, How many people came here that didn't hear this song on Fallout 3 first?

  • I love GNR!

  • Nice contrast between the red umbrella and the greyscale. Great song as well. 5*

  • You know it sucks that they dont make music like this anymore. The 50s were truly the golden age. Full of happiness. Now music is GARBAGE. All music talks about now is gangs, voilence, misery, and emo shit. Its really a shame that people listen to that garbage and dont listen to true music like this, but listen to crap u cant even call music. The 50s were the golden ages. Right everyone?

  • i agree

  • I don't think ALL music today are garbage, maybe most of the mainstream stuff that you hear and see on MTV and the radio, but I do agree that they don't do music like this anymore... But it wouldn't matter to me since I'm Asian American and it's not as if my grandparents listened to this type of stuff. xD

  • Umm no.. Not all music today is considered GARBAGE, imo. I would say MOST, but not all, of the mainstream music that you hear and see on MTV and the Radio.. But I do agree that they don't do music like this anymore... not that it matters since I am a 1st generation Asian american and my grandparents never listened to this type of stuff. And you have to remember that back then the media was restricted so it doesn't mean that everything was exactly "happy" or the way they portrayed it back then.

  • dont forget the "positive" side of the modern trash music. for example: " OH girl your ass so fine im like OOOH, i just wanna get on yo booty yeah in the club with the crunkness" the modern artists cannot use a fucking metaphor to explain a deep emotion.

  • Yeaah. I know exactly what you mean.Everything else is crap, to be honest. I don't want to start a flame war here, but honestly.

  • it does suck that they don't make music like this, but you can't say the 50's was the golden age. As much as I do love the 50's, you can't trash the 2000's and you can't say that there weren't horribly shitty things that went on in the 50's.

  • 100% correct.

  • shut up man... not all music of today is about gangs and violence...

  • The 50s is when everyone was living in terror of impending nuclear annihilation. It absolutely was NOT some "golden age...Full of happiness." It was filled with terror and a desperate attempt to bury it rather than deal with it.

  • different times, different music. get over it or make this kind of music yourself.

  • not just 50's dude, 60's 70's 80's.. and some 90's. After that is just garbage

  • Whats the 50's have anything to do with this?

This song came out in 1944.

  • Music is like brewing wine. The older it is - the better. But some wine is good enough when it's new. You were just drinking all the crap.

  • @Randomness65535 Well said my man!

  • Come back when you actually know what you're talking about. This song comes from the 40's.

And the 80's and early 90's were nice, before hip-hop and metal infested the airwaves.

  • Wow, how incredibly closed minded of you. A lot of 50's music was and is very awesome, but to write off a whole generation and it's music like that just shows ignorance and narrow thinking. Hmm, I'm guessing you're rather old and probably wont be around too much longer anyway, so maybe I should just let you have your nostalgic little rant while you still can.

  • Either that or you're 14, don't have a lot of friends into modern music and have played way too much Fallout 3.

I'm looking forward to the "Go fuck yourself" reply anyway. :)

  • That is so true...you forgot to mention how music these days is also used for advertising products and such.

  • right man, holy truth

  • i agree !

  • yea , youre right ...

    this is real music

    right everyone ?

  • definitely, I always say that!

    :D

  • True that, Almost every song made in the past 10 years is complete garbage. This is real music

  • It's actually the 40's that this song was made.

  • yea but I think music is a personel choice what some people call garbage sounds good to other people

  • YES!!! Someone finally gets it!!!

  • Correct!

  • Yeah I hope this kind of music comes back some day...

  • me to

  • yeah me too but lets be realists...its gone...forever...

  • dude I love the shit out of you

50s rock not all 14 year olds are shit heads

  • FINALLY, someone who is AGAINST the stupid hip hop and rap.

Anyway, I agree completely, the new music IS horrible.

    Oh and long live the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s. :)

  • dude that was 40's

  • Minus the shadow of impending nuclear Armageddon, the crippling fear of the Red Menace, and the Korean War....yes, they were pretty pimpin'. "That shizzy," as our Laureate Snoop "the Diggity" Dogg would say,"was off the hizzizook." ...... And I would agree with him...

  • lol

  • Whats a hizzizook? i never understand when people do that. Can you explain it to me?

  • GNR rocks! I only wish it wasn't so repetitive. I still stay tuned in regardless.

  • Mods have been relesed to add more songs from that era to GNR ^_^

  • hehe same here

  • whats fun is hearing this song in fallout 3 playing while your battling like 20 people. brings up my spirits:)

  • yeah, makes the game easier, in a way

  • I think I'm the only one on the planet that heard this song PRE-fallout. ._.

  • With the occurrence of newer music, all old songs will eventually end up in a land dump if no one mentions them.

  • Nah not the only one dude my grandpa and I would listen to this music sometimes. So hearing it in Fallout 3 was a treat I thought

  • Put it on ya CV

  • Who cares where someone heard it, as long as they appreciate such wonderful muzak rite :3

  • gr8

  • Bethesda got me to listen to these old songs, now when I play FEAR 2 or Halo 3, I play my GNR playlist on my computer trying to make it like Fallout lo\

  • ya older songs are great

  • i love this song well [ever sense fallout 3]

  • thats exactly what i was thinking

  • yup definitely GNR

  • on galaxy news radio it says into each life a RING must fall. Or is it just me

  • i quite do enjoy the song but its missing the ink spots. other than that its always good to see a person who also enjoys the oldies.

  • w00p

    galaxy news radio :P

  • That's one thing I really love about Bethesda. They really turned a lot of gamers on to big-band/swing music of the 40's. It's good to get some taste back in this generation.

Not saying if that's the case, but if it is, awesome.

  • 20's-40's. Why can't people get that right? >.>

  • He-he...

This song it Fallout 3 sounds very insanely!

  • slightly melancholic, light hearted and elegant, i like it : )

  • fallout 3!

  • yah i agree with her it does.

  • true

  • this classic is done by the ink spots and ella, it's fantastic, but your version is way too short as the lead singer of the spots begins it, not ella.

  • The uploader had to edit it, as the original is still copyrighted and can't be put on YouTube.
