    Customer Reviews:

After researching online and in person for a decent bench press for the house, somewhere between amateur and professional, I decided on this rack and the accompanying bench, the Best Fitness BFFID10 FID Bench (see my review for the bench on its page). First off, this was really easy to ...

  • So the idea is a long training (hour) with different exersises with lower resistance.

To me that just looks like a sort of bodypump class without the actual weights.

  • For whatever you want to use the Gymstick for, I personally prefer to use the Gymstick for resistance training. Why? After being in the fitness business for over 20 years, I find the Gymstick to be versatile, more interesting than using weights, can be used safely with other tools e.g. Swiss Ball and Foam Roller and can be adapted to work more than one muscle group at any one time. For time poor people, this is a perfect tool for total body resistance training.

  • I'm doing Cert IV now, we did a Gymstick session last wk. We all suffered but it was hilarious hearing the cries of shock + pain from some of our younger GUYS, who aren't exactly small. So DTBSAI, this CAN do strength....with the right version and the bands shortened. But, I agree this girl likely didn't get that body with this tool, chances are she's had abs longer than the gymstick has been around. But could someone get that look with it? Oh yeah 4 sure, we sweated buckets + got good burn.

  • DTBSAI, you are wrong. I started using Gymstick about a month ago. I can vouch for the fact that it works you out from top to toe. I am starting to see results in terms of weight loss. I have done a couple of group exercise classes using Gymstick, and believe me you get a good workout.

  • Its always the case - find genetically gifted people who have worked for years on their bodies and out them in a commercial. Then make it look like this Gym stick has done it all for them. This is at best a rehab and warm up tool. There is simply no way anyone can build a progressive strength program around this.
