@mrdiaz0108 It depends on what youre looking for.. The DSG is amazing and shifts fast as hell but theres something about the 6 speed that really allows the driver to be engaged with the road.

@mrdiaz0108 dsg is a semi-robotic transmision gearbox which (and according to VW) makes "perfect" changes, it has 2 clutches in it, the difference whith the manual one is: if you drive like Schumacher or Sebastial Loeb you can use the manual version cause you´ll know when to change from 1-2-3 etc, if you drive like any other mortal and you have 3000 dollars to buy the DSG version you may like it cause that gbox makes the work for you

BS.......you dont have 311 HP MKV with the mods you listed. Even a k04 full bolt on wont hit that much horsepower. So unless you went with a big turbo kit, I call BS.  I drive a chipped MkV GTI, and i love it to death, but no way are u getting 311 horsepower with those mods.

Honda is good, above 6000RPM. How often do you rive above 6000, especially in a city? GTI is good from 2000RPM onwards = more driving options. Different cars, but GTI is more sensible, and still very fun to drive, a better all-around package. GTI Edition 30 for me, baby!

Me personally i love gti's. Every year they were great but i agree the 90's gti's weren't so great. However to comment on what he said about improving it, there's not much to improve on. The interior is very plush and everything feels expensive, however i would want more power out of the car to compensate for the weight and it also needs an lsd because it really does spin its wheels a lot. What he DOESNT mention - for that extra few thousand dollars you get an interior thats comfortable and gorgeous - insted of a shitty honda interior. AND - for $500 over the price of the car you can re-flash the ECU and make 245 hp and 280 ft lbs of torque and smoke that Si in any venue.
