I've worked in retail for almost 5 years now as a part time job while in school, and it definitely has its days. I wish for one day the customers were on our side, so they would realize what we have to do to please them (maybe they wouldn't be so rude too haha).

I worked at Macy's while I was going to college. I lived with my uncle and he couldn't figure out why I didn't want to go out with my friends on my days off. (I hardly had a day off as it was) I worked 40 hours a week and went to school on my days off...it was hellish! It drove me nuts because I just wanted to rest and he'd make plans for me! BLAH

My question: I'm actually going to LA, and will be in a "Lush" area, is it worth it to make a stop at the Lush store? Are prices different? Yes, i definitely recommend going into the Lush store. The prices are higher than those of the UK but theres nothing like experiencing Lush first hand. Even if you dont buy anything at the store you can pick things up sniff em and maybe know what you want to order next time =)

Amen about the retail!! Ive worked at gamestop for 3 1/2 years and im an assistant manager..8 hour days 5 days a week..no breaks.. OMG!! lol. IT SUCKS! And you said your wearing flats, make sure you get structured ones because they will hurt just the same as heels if they aren't structured! :)

you can take your shirt off or wear a very thin shirt to get measured cuz thats the only way to figure out your exact size :)

I work at Victorias Secret and we do not measure you with your shirt or bra off. We will just ask you what type of bra you are wearing and measure you right over top your shirt! =). you cannot get an accurate meeasurment without a bra on bc you need to support them to measure them =)

well when I went to Dillards they asked me to take my bra off and they measured me without my shirt on.....was I perved lol but then again I got a bigger size than what I was suppose to lol.

omg girl.. i dont know. I have never ever heard of anyone doing that. When I was taught how to size.. they told me you need to be wearing a bra so your tatas are supported so you can get an accurate measurment. I really do not think that you should have had to taken off your shirt and bra. =(

they measure u with your bra on, but try not to wear a padded one, they'll ask you if you are and i guess they can still figure out if you are but i think it makes it easier if u dont.

80% of women wear the wrong bra size. women should be fitted every 6 months.. just incase you've gained or lost weight. =) =) and its very easy & quick. and having the right bra can make you look slimmer and trimmer =)

Angels Delight was a big disappointment this year, it's not the same strong yummy scent as last year. The sales people said that they are aware it didn't turn out well and that they are working on it though so maybe they will do another batch.

I worked in retail a LONG time ago at JC Penneys and it is a hard job and not a huge amount of pay. Dealing with the public is a hard job!! Glad you are working. It seems like it is hard for young people to find jobs, my son is a "senior" in college and now going to go for another 3 years to get a double major so he can get a job! Good luck to you hun :)
