Thats why Cotto has heart, Margarito damaged him but he has more heart than Manny and Floyd combined. The greats are Sweet Pea and Duran they fought great opposition not relevant names and thats the difference between them and boxers of today. Sweet Pea was 5'6 and took on 6 footers and won, Duran 5'7 took on Hearns 6'1 on pure heart. No one of today not evenn Floyd can be compared to Sweet Pea they never fought the best and these guys never will. Thats why they both are in question.

You can come up with every excuse in the book but I don't like Manny, Floyd, Arum, Roach, or Margarito. I hate 'em all they are all bad for boxing. I'd pay to watch the best 147 and 154 pound guys fight each other. The best in the sport right now are Sergio Martinez, Paul Williams, the Super Six and Tim bradley and Devon Alexander. These guys are the best in their division and they fight the best out there. Floyd and Manny not fighting Paul Williams at 147 and using catchweights says it all.

But if he ever takes on a live dominate champ one day and doesn't weight drain them in some form and then he loses, he can fight Marquez at 130 or 135 easy because the excuse for the curent weight drains is he over eats for weight. So he can easilly go down in weight to fight Marquez, if not he can use the excuse I'm a solid jr midd almost so I can't go down. I'm not as good as the all time greats like Sweet Pea and Duran. I'm not even as good as Cotto who I'm the same size as or bigger than.

Pacquiao's walking weight was 144-149 when he fought Morales at 130lbs 3 times. He had to loose 14-19 lbs. Pacquaio don't make excuses, Mayweather does! One more thing. How can loosing 14-19lbs be easy to go down to fight at 135-130 with Marquez? Cotto only had to loose 2 lbs and everyone says he was weight drained? You drink 1 gallon of water and that weighs 8 pounds.

Marquez can not carry his weight well as Pacquiao. I don't think Pac will go down lower than 140 either. If it happens, the fight should be at 140-142 weight limit to be fair. We all know that Pac is much faster at that weight limit while JMM will be slower because of the weight.
