@MegaUnavailableusern Both are useful techniques, but for different reasons. The floor press limits your ROM and usually allows you to use a heavier weight. The feet up bench press flattens your back and allows for greater chest stimulation through a full ROM. The downfall to that is that you usually have to ditch your ego and lower the weight.
@Dannychu92 Dude, you shouldn't worry about what people think man... unless you go to GYM already for other people. Do your shit, get out and soon people will realise you are achieveing your goals and they will die of old age in gym because they still care what people think.. sound harsh but its true,. goodluck
I find that I can get just as much out of floor pressing as I can doing conventional bench presses. The trick for me is to stick my chest out far enough so that I can touch it with the bar. That way I get a full range of motion (butt and legs stay on the ground!). If you try the floor press, you will prob.max out at about 20-25 lbs.(10-12 kg) less than what you can currently bench. Floor presses are harder bc you can't use any leg-thrust at the bottom of the movement like you can when benching.
i tried it once, and fell asleep.. boy was i tired.

when i did this with my curl bar for high reps. man that really shapes the chest.
lovelearning 2 years ago
This lift definitely works great... Works the chest, and makes you keep your back level. No help by rising off the ground.

I've been using the floor press for two weeks so far, and it's helped me with size and strength for the chest! Feels greats.
