@nicklepa24 I don't know really, I mean, you could make the suggestion that the theme is "going back in time" and George Lucas could have asked for them... lol...that's just a wild guess really...
@mrsmichaeljackson Universal probably thought they would never use the song again besides in theme parks, and also probably thought that no one would really see this TV special. So they decided to make a little extra money.
so i just looked it up on here and the music they are using is the exact soundtrack from back to the future...VERBATIM. i'd like to know how they got to use it.
aaahaha i luv the music. And i luv Disneyland the best of all the Disney parks especially the Fantasyland dark rides, and new PIrates is amazing ahahah
I can't believe the timing of this upload. I just handed in a 13 pages essay on Disney and his influence on the entertainment industry- a piece being disneyland, and researched a lot of things referenced in this video. two words: Awe Inspiring...
when i went to magic kingdom, i was with my school so we got to get into the park before anybody else. it felt weird walking around frontierland towards splash mountain with no one else around but us. but it worked out since we got to ride splash mountain before anybody else and no wait line :)
Oh i know what this is! This was to commemerate the 35th anniversary of Disneyland plus there's a segment where they confirm a bunch of rides that never was built
Love this history of Disneyland.

Surprised... since Universal owns the rights to the music. But obviously we all thought it sounded familiar. ;)

Disney also owns Marvel... those rides appear all over Universal parks.
twoeffs38 2 years ago
@toonron They use the Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves theme in their DVD intros now which is WB.
AngrySockMan 1 year ago
It's not the Back To The Future music... but it's meant to sound a lot like it, because those films were very popular at the time this was broadcast.

They either got rights for it, or they helped produce the films and already had the rights.
