It's funny, but it is making fun of swing dancers; as in the dance is just all jumpy-bumpy crazy stuff, and any spaced out clumsy couple, slip -sliding and falling about can win a competition. Maybe that's how the parents at the time viewed the dance. Anyways, it's fun.
you really have to know how to dance to do those steps. Arthur Lake is terrific at that!

The only thing worse than a regular Dagwood, is a drunk Dagwood. Too funny. These were great, and I miss them. Thanks for the memories.
