Actually, Mariah has vocal nodules, that's also why she can't sing as strong anymore. She refuses to get them taken care of because there's a chance she could lose her voice forever. I think Whitney was just taken advantage of by what's his face that brought her into cocaine, she probably never would have done any of that if it wasn't for him. I love them both and am just so happy Mariah--even though her live performances aren't like they were in the 90's--is still making music. :]
