Supremacy-of-Races bullshit actually started before sHitler.
It was based on Darwin's evolutionary theories when it first began to take shape; Darwin was not into race-supremacy BS; it was monkeys like Wagner-the-composer who promoted the first of that shit.
I wouldn't myself describe all the supremacists who have since then 'taken it up' as people, but more like each and everyone one of them being criminally insane and/or severely suffering from several anti-social illnesses.
