You get the beam item in Elecman's stage, however you need to defeat GutsMan first because you will need his power during ElecMan's stage to get rid of the blocks in the way of the beam.

In Megaman Powered up you don't get to even have that "M" power you used at 1:40 (even in Old Style mode). The fact that game makes you a little bigger as well really hurts in that platforming part even more *Shudders*

I'm stuck on this stage! I can get past the disappearing platforms with the platform generator from Elecmans stage, but when I get to the things with the propellers, they shoot me off the edge or I fall through them!

On Elecman's stage, there is an area that has an item behind blocks that you have to throw with Gutsman's ability or destroy with Elecman's ability if you repeat the stage. Get the item and you get "m"

How do you extend the magnet beam like that?

To extend the Magnet Beam, simply hold the shooting button down, than letting go, rather than simply tapping the button.

The longer you hold the button down, the longer the Magnet Beam extends.
