@fishstory Draggle-assed old Russian song? If you can't hear the magic in the original theme you're deaf. I don't see the need to make this a contest of nations. The Red Army choir has an awesome rendition of this song, and so does Chet Atkins, or all the Gipsy Jazz players from Django on to now. Get over your nationalistic complex.
@fishstory Draggled isn't a word-it's BEdraggled you illiterate fuck. Armstrong sounds like he has a bunch of cockroaches infesting his throat. This song has and will continue outlast any of Armstrong's crackhead work.
I am half Russian, on my mother, and I finished the academy in Chicago, jazz, and jazz play a long time, since their 5-year and I was always at my piano ... I love this version, the genius of Louis Armstrong, and my favorite Russian songs....
He was good friend with Billy Crystal's father (who was famous producer at that time). Billy Crystal's grandmother was from Russia. So, probably she gave him lessons.
I like Luis Armstrong very much. It`s his interpretation to original. An even in different style it sounds great.
P.S. from Russia with love)

I think you should have written "In my opinion", instead of "after" in your description. Wonderful upload though.
