  • truly a sad day for all who frequented the la/toms/jonies

As a person who drank there for 30 years i will miss all the old faces sitting or standing in the same spot as always chatting the same shit getting my tax envelope from behind the bar with the money jimmy backland had bummed tony rimmer heating up coins with a lighter to put back on the pool table for some poor sod to burn his fingers [ grow up rimmer ] baz grant mine sweeping [r i p ] and a good old punch up in the car park.

  • do you remember the la having a cellar 5 in the middle...... fookin ell.... another one bites the dust

  • @lithylad Hi There, I don't remember the 'Cellar 5 being there, (about when would that be) I was living away from Litherland for over 30 years. Been back almost 7 years now

Sad eh!, quite a few of my family had good times in there

  • @lithylad Yeah thats me, we were getting probs with ads on the LPP so we moved onto Ronnies Site, 'Litherland Ford Pictorial' here is the link
