just glue the two sides of the center to each other dnt glue the whole thing only the sides so they turn

remove the pin that holds the 2 halfs from the top and the bottom puzzle;P

If you bandaged the middle layer, wouldn't it function the same as a Square-1(or 2?)?

well a layer has 12 pieces and a square-1 has 8. and when you bandage the middle layer you would have a round square-2 :D
