They were not wanted in ireland for the same reasons as they are not wanted here. we had a travellers site just outside of our small town and while they were here the intimidated everybody they came in contact with. the woman would take all their kids in the local shops with them and send them off in different directions to steal from the shelves. my wife barred them in the end and was threatened by one of the mothers.
