  • I had the same problem, I replaced the regulator / rectifier. All fixed. About a 60 minute job, 40 if you can remember how everything came unpluged to plug the new stuff in.

  • Still haven't bothered to fix it yet. Haven't scheduled a night ride. More than likely, I'll just take it to the shop when I need it to be fixed.

  • @firekraqr I have the same prob with my dual sport but it's a factory light. If you get it fixed, please let me know what your shop said the problem was so I can fix mine. Thanks.

  • I have the same problem on my 250. What was the problem. Was it the rectifier?

  • mine does the opposite!! how wired! lol

  • Rectifier/regulator failure. replace rectifier.

  • hmm thats weird, sorry couldn't help, good luck though.

  • the only thing i can think is bad battery or bad alternator. see if that helps

  • @charliebaja There is no alternator on this motorcycle, the STATOR is keeping the brand new battery nicely charged. Baja Designs believes it's a floating ground issue, but their tech support isn't the greatest.
