Just look at the embryo drawings in this video, they're drastically different from Haeckel's drawings. Haeckel fudged up his drawings so that the stages of the different species of embryo looked much more similar than they actually are so he could support his now falsified "Recapitulation theory". If you look at the embryo drawings in this video, they look a lot more dissimilar from each other. So once again creationist $%^wits have no idea what they're talking about. Quelle surprise.

The drawings in the video are clearly described as being representative of Darwin's studies prior to publishing in 1859. Haeckel published his drawings in 1874.

It must hurt the head to be as clueless as West and the other Discovery Institute creationists. Perhaps the creationists who copied his claims here without actually watching (or understanding) the video, or checking any facts, will learn something: never trust the Discovery Institute creationist writers. They lie. Always.

Before you DI fans regurgitate the lies you swallowed from John West's article, you might try actually watching this video. The drawings are not Haeckel's, and no reference is made to Haeckel in connection with them. In the context of the video, they are clearly meant to represent embryolgic drawings that Darwin studied. It may come as a surprise to the typical Creationist moron, but embryos, drawings of them, and their relationship to evolution are not exclusively associated with Haeckel.

I had to give this video 1 star. Stop the video at 7:30 and tell me why in the world did Dawkins show Ernst Haeckels bogus embryo diagrams??!!

Because Dawkins is talking about the letters Darwin received. What the heck are you complaining about? Should Dawkins have used pictures of embryos to represent the letters? That would have been disingenuous.

They are not Haeckel's drawings. Besides, vertebrate embryo's do share a lot of similarities, but not to the extent Haeckel claimed they do.

Interesting to see Dawkins still trying to peddle Haeckel's fraudulent embryo drawings, which misrepresent embryos of different species at an early stage of development. (See the video at 7:29 to 7:38 minutes.) Dawkins is either an ignoramus or a deliberate "liar for Darwin." No person who is informed about the subject, is unaware of the fraud perpetuated by Haeckel. The embryos are in fact very different at early stages.
