  • Beautiful. Mozart and sky... What else do you need?

  • This video is calming me down.

  • i don't think anybody could say a trip across the atlantic is not unteresting to say the least. I'm not trying to argue about what you can or can't see but i think you would have to be pretty miserable to not enoy this experience in at least some way

  • Oohh wat prachtig

  • Beautiful vid and choice of music! I love flying!

  • imagine if somethink on the plane broke and fell to the ground :/ ???

  • @XboxPhantom Thankyou Sir :)

  • Awesome clip...... BTW can any one tell me what the background music was plz?

  • @santhoshferrari it is in the description

  • Oh my gosh I like flying and all but... just the thought of crashing is what scares me ;_;

  • i love seeing other planes in the air from the plane i'm in. i was landing at chicago once and us and another plane had been coming in parallel with each other for about 10 minutes or so and both landed at the same time. that was pretty cool. wish i would have had my camera out for that.

  • chicken is an awesome game to play at fl410 haha but with family on board not really. favorite brand would be boeing with the trip 777's and 744's but also a big fan of the airbus a330's and a346's

  • Some questions for all you jet Pilots...

When you see another plane on a similar heading, ever get the urge to bump the throttle up a bit?

    Any favorite brand of plane?

Thanks for sharing the great views from the front seats!

  • amazing video!! thanks for upload :)

  • What is the plane releasing around 1:20?

  • So beatiful is sky. Beatiful as God Elohim created that.

  • How beatiful is sky. So beatiful, as God Elohim created that.

  • just awesome!

  • FS11?

  • WOOOOW this is beautiful!

  • thanks for the video

  • B.E.A.U tiful

  • very rare i watch a video through till the end on youtube,i did with this, excellent.

  • This video is awsome! And the soundtrack is wonderful! I added this video to my favourite playlist! I have a question: is your aircraft a Boeing 757?

  • you only recall that you're flying 560 mph when another jet rushes in the opposite direction :))

  • GREAT VIDEO ONE OF THE BEST MUSIC GOES SO WELL WITH THIS VIDEO

  • I know this is a well...unprofessional question, which no pilot would ever consider!!!! But you know ....when ur on a long flight, bored and u see another plane on a paralell heading travelling slightly faster than your plane.....do u ever wonder, well maybe I could go faster than him/her? Screw ATC!! Not that would ever enter a pilots mind ever I suppose LOL, love the video, excellent perspective

  • Beautiful. This video really captures the calm, tranquil side of flying. A joy to watch - I dream of being an Airline Pilot.

  • your taking very good videos, wish i could fly with you one day ... best regards from frankfurt am main (GER)

  • A real dream..

  • Great video! 5/5 Just a minor thing I picked up - at 1:35 I think you meant to write that RWY 27L, instead of 27R, wasn't available at EGLL.

  • 1:12 = Vaporized grey water from the sink.

"The sink drain actually 'vents' out of a heated drain mast (to prevent it from freezing). If they left the plunger open, it would create a lot of noise, and use a tiny amount extra bleed air to pressurize the airplane, which I imagine would cause a small decrease in fuel economy." - Quote taken from an article by the author of this video. - Google "Plane Answers: Takeoff speeds, weights and lavatory drains"

  • IT so beautiful.....so relaxing.....nice video

  • Flying for me is an escape from all the depressing bull shit that happens on the ground.

  • Thats a great way to put it.

  • excellent comment

  • Beautiful shots combined with beautiful music. Great!

  • it is magical!, think that some people never got to be above the clouds

  • hobos

  • Great video !!

  • it's beauuuuuuutifull.. magnificent... I like all your videos

  • All your videos are great!! Keep them coming

  • Very fine job. Congrats.

  • one of my very favorite videos, set to the magnificent Mozart's Andante dal concerto kv 467

My only complaint is that it's too short. I hope you'll consider doing a longer version to the same melody. The combination is magical. Thank you so much!

  • Thanks. It's a LOOONG song, but it might be nice to do. I'll consider that.

  • @fly4fun, what a beautiful and amazing video like so many of you films:)

May I ask if you have ever flown up or down over The Shetland and Faroe Islands?. We(Shetland) are at 60 degrees and I have often wondered if it is possible to see the Faroe Islands to the north west(62d) when passing over Shetland if the visibility allows?. Or indeed how long it takes to go between Shetland to Faroe.

Apologies for all the questions - I'm just intruiged and fascinated by it all!.

  • You're videos are too short that's true !

  • @sandpiper21212 And in HD!

  • I am completely in love with your video.. It reminds me of why I love this profession soooooo much ! See ya around at FL360 mate ! Happy Landings !

  • Kent, your videos are staggering! I am a newly qualified CPL/IR (Frozen ATPL in Europe), just waiting out the downturn. Videos like this remind me why I have sacrificed so much to become qualified. Thank you so much, please continue....

  • see this is what intrigues me so much about this job. who gets to do this on a daily basis really? your cubicle at fl350!

  • Wow

  • wonderful ! poetry in the skies :-)

  • Wow 5 Stars ;)

  • great.. this is ultimate freedom!

  • cloud surfing! :D

  • Love it!

  • wow simply amazing!!!

  • nice choice, don't forget the queen

  • lol yea way better than fsk lol

  • you dont see that every day..........

  • awesome! thanks for posting...

  • wow. I didn't know you could get that close to other aircraft.

  • is this Mozart??..song title please!

  • Check the description on the right. There's even a link to iTunes.

  • thanks!

  • Mozart Concerto Number 21 I think.

The piece suits the video very well.

  • 757/767, correct? I could tell by the brief cockpit scene of the HSI.

  • wow thats amazing

  • I never realised planes coming the other way, fly so close - soberting thought

  • Brilliant, thanks for sharing.

  • It's about the only time I can truly enjoy Mozart. Awesome!

  • that was a boeing bomb... see the peanut?

  • Beautiful. This is why I want to be a pilot.

  • Agreed!

  • my thoughts exactly

  • go for the holes in the clouds, it's so much fun

  • music goes great with the scenes good job!

  • Hey man nice video, could you please tell me what a holding pattern is ? thanks

  • To "hold" is to track or trace a "racetrack" pattern co-located with a "fix" such as a VOR, NDB, intersection, or waypoint.

Simply put, holding is an airborne circling procedure equivalent to pulling off to the side of the road.

We do this for ATC aircraft "sequencing", aka... getting in line, waiting-out weather, traffic congestion, or emergencies.

Since we can't stop the airplane mid-flight for whatever reason... we enter a holding pattern. Many patterns are depicted on IFR enroute charts.

  • I agree what a beautiful video. The pilots do have the best view of the flight.

  • Absolutely beautiful video. Thank you so much for posting it. I am afraid of flying, and this video puts it in a different light. Very calming.

  • A type rating for the captain at least. I believe the gross weight on that one was 26,000 pounds.

  • That's just water being drained from a lav sink. There's a heated drain mast that lets the water go overboard, since it doesn't make much sense to store the added weight of used water.

Not to be confused with the toilet water that's of kept in a tank of course.

  • lol toilet water

  • Being a pilot must be fantastic, flying trough the clouds looks so awesome. Each time I am going somewhere with a plane, I hope there is bad weather, because I love to cross the clouds.

  • nice video i hope to be a pilot. Looks like you are one. What aircarft do u fly

  • Good luck dmmmac2. 757 usually. Occasionally the 767.

  • i iwsh u could take me on one of ur fights i love airplanes i wana be a pilot i cant wait till i get out of high school

  • we are 2. i also want to get out of hight school to be a pilot!!!! :D

  • Actually, you'll be entering "height school" or, more commonly known as, "flight school" after... you graduate from "high school."

    I know, I kid. :)

Since you typed "hight school" I couldn't resist.

    Hope your dream comes true!

  • sorry, i mean high school. Thanks men. =)

  • Beautiful! I wish I had wings :-)

  • this might have been a very bumpy ride I guess :P.

That is always what I dream when I go to sleep :).

  • 1:24 I think that is one of the most beautiful scenes that a human can see

  • no....it not!

  • That was some great chillout scenes!

  • 27L is not available you put 27R

  • Good catch!

  • never gets old, im going to be a pilot

  • Fantastic....perfect music....thank you for sharing. Thanks for the Cockpit Chronicles too. For those who cannot fly, inspiration is the next best thing.

  • Good enough to keep staying "up the clouds"

  • I fly in my dad's plane all the time, and we like to get up early and take flight around sunset, espically at the cockpit view, its amazing.

  • I was impressed by the wonderful world in this sky !

    I am thankful to you.・゜☆. : * :・゜☆

  • Just to think of being there at the cockpit at fl360 or whatever altitude admiring those great views and being controlling the aircraft...is just an unexplained feeling...thats what flying means :)

    awesome videoo!! 5/5

  • very interesting pictures, thanks for posting

  • Thanks for these, Kent. By the way... what is (specific or typical) company policy - if any - about this sort of thing... (a) videoing and (2) posting to YouTube?

  • Hi Steven,

I've discussed it with both the FAA and my chief pilot (at the same time, no less) and they agree that above 10,000 feet is ok. Good question.

  • That sounds like a reasonable policy for your kind of operation. Obviously, for some people, their minima will be way lower than that. As long as it's carefully thought out, it needn't be an issue.

  • Literally soaring above the clouds.

  • Mozart- Concerto 21. Nice music with the scenery. Very nice and peaceful.

  • You wouldn't believe how long it took me to find that song. I heard it years ago and I've been searching ever since.

  • Really. You should have "googled" it. Or maybe you did not know the name

  • very nice dude and music well matched makes me asleep ;p. Make more

  • that just inspires people to fly .. amazing

  • Man, thats cool i wanna get on a dc3!

  • at 1:15 what was that, that the plane was leaking??

  • If you click on the trail streaming from the airplane, some notes pop up that say "Water draining from the lav sink through a heated drain mast."

  • brillinat scenery i must say

  • that is my future job <3 i love it!

  • Nice chemtrail!

  • Whats a cock pitch ronical?

ha ha just kidding, nice shots.

  • man i wanna get on a plain again!

  • hey in london does snow fall?

  • in winter sometimes

  • so wonderful!

    PEACE

  • omg you dont even know how much i missed the plane sound that appeared in this video...i used to love it when i was a child and fly in a plane...actually i loved traveling just because i could get into a plane!!...i wish i would become a pilot...itll never happen though

  • Not with that spelling.

  • THATS FOR SURE!

  • thats harsh poor kid

  • thanks man

  • i wish i want efraid of flying, i mean its beautiful up there, but i always have thoughts that were just gonna fall out of the sky, and i mean its rare to survive a plane crash, how should i get over my fears. by the way i do fly like twice a year

  • I would try thinking this. (Thousands of airliners fly each day without problems, and if your afraid of something mechanically going wrong, the pilots are experts at surveying the aircraft before take off, and monitoring at all times. On another note, no fatal accident with an airliner has happend in a very long time. I might add think of take off as fun, cause it is kind of a rush :D) hope that helps.

  • yea my dad has tto spend the night n the airport becz his airlines eginees broke

    (:

  • this is why I am becoming a Commerial Airline Pilot

  • Anyone know of any DVDs of this sort of stuff?

  • gringo i love this

    beautiful video!

  • AWESOME

  • music fits perfectly to that vid =)

  • I love flying across the Pacific alone as a 14 year old. The 6th time.

  • i love this! hard to imagine that us humans have done such amazing things such as this...we can fly such big machines at like what, 700 mph (correct me if im wrong). p.s. i love how your vids are nicely edited and presented, you really make things a lot more interesting that way!

  • 550-650 MPH ;)

  • I have a question about that water draining. Is the drained water produced by the pressurization and conditioning system?

  • No, that would exit as a vapor, I'm sure. Plus the sink drains happen infrequent enough to stand out. We also have a chance to notice these same sink drains when on the ground outside the airplane.

  • Oh thanks for the info!

PS your videos are all amazing XD!!

  • Oh that's simply amazing! That's why my dream is being a commercial pilot...

  • same here =P

  • wonders of being a pilot..

  • whats the name of the piano song>? so nice!

  • ooh Cloud surfing... wonderfull, Since i got my License i can fly my P51 for fun... realy love to fly with it...

    Take care guys =)

  • You are really lucky man :D

    Keep flying ;)

  • For me it's just a C152 I can afford to hire, no P51's for me, but man I love to fly. Be safe

  • beautiful!

  • the view is good, but after the sme view for 10 hours.....

  • this is great.......pilots! those lucky cloudskimmers!

  • Padece usted el síndrome de memorias de Africa.Precioso video.

  • Coming back from Barbados in the early eighties, I asked the stewardess if it was possible to sit up in the cockpit for a while. I thought she had forgotten after a while but came back later on to bring me up front. Quite cool, the guys were nice with me and I stayed about an hour up there, it was an L-1011.

  • Perfect music to go with that footage! Awesome!

  • Fly4fun, your movies are amazing! We pilots have the privilege to listen and feel this harmony! *Just to make sure, it seems that the RWY that is not available at that moment is the 27L and not the 27R, correct? Have a nice flight! ;)

  • They were in the process of moving the BA 777 that landed short and that's why 27R was closed, I believe.

    Thanks Vurban!

  • ;) We are here to colaborate my friend! Nice flights for u!

  • Beautiful shots you've got there...really good definition and awe-inspiring colours of sunset and evening....very artistic, 5* and a new subscriber to ya!

  • Hmmmmm,,,,,,Nice. Very tranquil.

  • awesome

  • Love the shots of that sunset taken out of the port side, totally stunning. Now all you need to do is kick some ground crew butt to clean your windshield ;)

  • ohh wonderful as usual, i do have a question when u fly in the sky dont u get alot of turbulence to deal with even if it is such a good weather, i hate flying and im scared to death of it, but it might just be cuz utube upload alot of carbage[u dont!].

well im going to brazil this saturday and i might be flying on a 767 747 but theres no diffrence on them XD.

well how do u now all the planes that passes?

  • no difference between a 767 and 747? one is quite a bit larger and has 2 decks (the bulge) at the front) :)

Don't be scared of flying, you are at higher risk of something happening the next time you cross a street then you'll have in the sky :)

Have a good flight to Brazil, went there once too, was a 12 hour flight from where I live pffff.

On the video, gorgeous :) I so long to fly.

Best office view in the world :)

    Groetjes Innsewerants/Luggage

  • waarom niet ?
