It's not guitar hero, it's something called Frets Of Fire. I think he just downloaded an add-on which changes the appearance so it is similar to GH3.

Yeah i got it the day it came out, i like the demo version on the English Way single better than the album version, the demo sounds alot more raw and reminds me of the stuff on Grand Unification...
