  • im a girl and i love throwing boomerangs i recently bought 1 and the koory educater at my school is teaching me and 1 of my freiends how to throw them. and im not aboriganal cause some people say stupid things like onlly aboriganals can throw boomerangs and play didury doos thats a mith the digery doo thing well guess wat i play the digery doo..............

  • That's really cool Lauren :) I wish more girls would throw boomerangs. I think you should make a video of you and your friend throwing booms. I'd like to see that. I've heard that most Australian boomerangs don't really work, just tourist art. That's probably why those people said that, they never saw one work before haha. RANGS brand boomerangs do work good though. I tried playing a didge once. Not easy. Good job! :)

  • @whishhbone

most boomerangs that are sold in australia are for sucker tourists and made in asia and these are the ones that dont work.

you need to buy one in australia from ''Rangs'' or suchlike.....ones made by australians for flying and comming back....dont get one from a souvenir shop if you want it to fly and come back.

  • @Cre8iveSignWorks Yes, good recommendations. I know about Roger's RANGS and SPINBACK booms, and I've heard you can even find them in some airports. SOME of the Australian tribes have been cited on making faulty fliers too. I suppose it's because they're paid very little for their piece-work. Duncan Maclennan's Boomerang School in Sydney has some excellent aboriginal made boomerangs. Highly recommended. Thanks! :)

  • @xxxLauren12345xxx You go girl. I have the feeling there are more boomerang throwers and builders here in the USA, Argentina and Brazil. Most of the boomerangs being made in Australia are for decoration and sold to tourist. Yes there are still aborigines making and selling real returning boomerangs but no way near the amount just 20 years ago. This comment is in no way degrading the aborigines. Peace.

  • Brown shirt's so cute

  • cute lol

  • i had one until it landed on a big roof...... now i don't have one!!!!!

  • The grass toss before the throw was classic. As a thrower I can tell she has seen somebody throw alot of boomerangs and show other beginners how.
