Hey, Buzz - the flag on your right shoulder is designed to be on the left shoulder. You need the one with the star field on the right. Think of a flag on a pole: from that side the star field is on the right as you're going forward.

@sappha58 I don't think it matters. I have seen flags facing both directions on flag poles. It all depends on which way you are looking at them. Plus I don't think he made that shirt himself. Looks store bought to me.

@sappha58 When a flag is displayed flat the blue star field is always supposed to be on the upper left. I doubt you could even buy patches that have a flag shown differently.

@jbear0000 when you have the flag patch on your shirt, the star feild would have to be in the front, it doesn't mater if it is left oe right, because if the field is in the back, it is a retreating flag, and the flag never retreats

@bug9513 True, but that isn't the right way to display the flag. Google search "proper way to display the flag", click the first link and scroll down to #8. So like I said, no one would make a patch that is displayed differently because it is wrong.

@jbear0000 Au contrare, Pierre. I just bought an Army surplus jacket with an American flag on the right shoulder - with the star field on the right. The intent is to see it as one moves forward. Go look up Mil-Spec Monkey and you'll find flags like I'm talking about.
