you should mention that the shaft can also turn a large fan like in a turbofan or a propeller for a turboprop

That's inside of a turbojet specifically. Jet engine is any engine that powers a jet, could be a turboprop, pulsejet, ramjet or like on almost all jet airplanes they're turbofans.

You didn't explain anything about how the air is compressed or diffused. You just say the compressor compresses it, anybody who didn't know would be like WTF's going on there. Same thing with the turbine which is converting pressure to velocity.

you forgot to mention that the more fuel you add the faster it burns and spins which draws in more air which leads to more combustion which rotates the central shaft faster which then wants more fuel
