What exactly is wrong with the judge asking if she is pregnant? I'm pretty sure it was a custody hearing. If there was going to be another baby then that is very relevant imo. For example, was the home going to be big enough for 12 kids PLUS a newborn. There is also the question of who the father is. Is she supporting this new guy or is he supporting her? Also, did she have sex in front of the kids? Probably not but it has to at least be asked.

I dont have any words about the Duggard family. The only thing I can say is I do think its wrong for a woman to have all those children and then turn around and make the kids take care of each other as if they are the parents. I believe children need to be involved in age appropriate activities and not taking care of children.

Also the kids never all get to know each other. I know families where the older child is like 15-20 years older than the youngest and they barely know each other because there are so many other siblings between them.

i dont think people should have so many kids that the other kids have to take care of kids. The reason the Duggars catch flak for having kids is because 1) they're white (which is the plain truth of it), and 2) they are not producing politically useful children. What exactly is wrong with the judge asking if she is pregnant? I'm pretty sure it was a custody hearing. If there was going to be another baby then that is very relevant imo. For example, was the home going to be big enough for 12 kids PLUS a newborn. There is also the question of who the father is. Is she supporting this new guy or is he supporting her? Also, did she have sex in front of the kids? Probably not but it has to at least be asked.

i dont think people should have so many kids that the other kids have to take care of kids. I don't mean asking siblings to help with younger ones but actually like having to get them up, wash em, feed em bascially doing all the parents duties everyday because the parents cant do it themselves. I think thats very unfair to the older kids. They want to have a life too and theyre not the ones having the babies so they shouldnt always have to take care of them

But before the Duggars were on TV, they were able to take care of their kids. Even if the show ended (is it still on?) they'd be able to take care of the kids. I don't see the point of having so many kids in any case, but if you can afford them, then go ahead. It's when I have to pay for someone else's kids, I have a problem. I wasn't there when they were made, why should I have to support some stranger's kids for the rest of their lives (if they can't manage to get out of the situation)?

The reason the Duggars catch flak for having kids is because 1) they're white (which is the plain truth of it), and 2) they are not producing politically useful children. Their kids will grow up with a nice upbringing, in a loving family, and will probably go on to get educations. This is not useful for the Democratic party, which wants to a build an electorate of impoverished, illiterate, dependent minorities.

I gotta disagree with you on the race issue.. It's not the race of the mother having 47 kids that people get so bothered about, it's whether the mother (parents) are supporting those kids or not. If a 3-legged Asian woman wants to have 100 kids then fuckit, that's her business - so long as she isn't turning to the state to pay for them. For a start she didn't expect to be unemployed, and didn't expect to give birth to such a large number of kids at once. Plus she's not even White. Joanne Watson, although a disgusting case, isn't going to get this kind of media attention because she hasn't lost her home, and there's no drama to be exploited. Before TLC, the Duggars had to pull all sorts of crap to feed their, what, 16 kids? Look at them in the first season of the show and look at them now. TLC's supporting them. Josh and John-David (the oldest 2 sons) support themselves, but the girls aren't permitted to work outside the home... or, indeed, at all. I'm white and I believe any woman no matter what color should be spayed or neutered after no more than 2 kids she can't take care of, hell some should not be allowed to reproduce! I was young & stupid when I had my 3 kids, my husband & I were working poor so we got food stamps. I love them but I wish somebody had made me get "fixed" before I had the 3! Then I would not have gone on to adopt 2 of my grandkids their mother & fathers were to sorry & stupid to take care of & support!

I'm very negative about raising kids you can't afford from my own experiences & after raising my granddaughters that are now 15 & 17 that are choosing to live with their no good mother, follow in her foot steps. At least I was married to the father of my children, unlike my daughter who had 4 kids, 4 fathers, only 1 pays support, I raised 2 of them without help.

I bet she was on medicaid so it should have covered it. should be a law after having so many kids and the person having them is in this situation, like not married no job and money to support them, it should be automatic tubes need to be tied.
