yes it is a bit slow i have tested it with a strobeoscope. but unfortunately its not much i can do aboute it becoase its driven directly from the AC line and the speed it syncronysed to the AC frequency (50 hz) what i have done is to oil all the bearings. so i think its running as close to the corect speed as it ever will be.
strangely it runs on the right speed when i run it on 45 rpm
