@hecker001 Friend, what about your own soul? Where will you go after you die: heaven or hell? God's word tells us there is none righteous; all have sinned and the wages of sin is death. Jesus took your sins, died, but defeated death when He rose again. He is your saviour and no matter the amount of good works you perform; they cannot take you to heaven; only through Jesus can you go to heaven, because He paid the price for your sins. He is calling you now, pls don't reject Him.

@darkzero550 Yes, Jesus died for the sins of the world, but everyone must consciously accept Him as saviour. It's like a man who deposits a million dollars for his unborn child. If the child does not realize it, he might end up poor, but if he does all he has to do is go to the bank and withdraw the money. Salvation is a free gift, it cannot be earned by works.

@darkzero550 Have you ever heard of Born Again? The Bible says if anyone be in Christ he is a new creature, old things are passed away and all things have become new. When you truly accept Jesus, He gives you a new spirit so you can't live in sin anymore. None who truly accepts Jesus will do those things you mentioned. You become holy, by his grace and sin has no power over you. So don't lose sleep over that. Accept Jesus and you won't live in sin anymore.

There is much I respect about Islam: at least they believe G-d is *truly* One and not three in one. However, Muslims should lift up their faith without trying to tear down the Hebrew Bible--it simple cannot be logically demonstrated that the Hebrew Bible was corrupted. Even the "Orthodox" Christians allege this corruption by the Jews, yet their faith stems from the Hebrew. Even Jesus of Nazareth is reported to have said, Salvation is of the Jews.

Here the Qur'an has not been destroyed and remains original word for word. Now rationally, which do you think is amore reliable source of information? Of cause comparing it to the bible which is copied out of many copies with words added or taken out of the different line of copies you'd know how reliable the bible is

@SkullMech The problem you encounter as Muslims or Christians is that both are based upon the revelations found in the Hebrew bible. The new testament could possibly be false and the Quran could be false, but if the Hebrew Bible is false and the N.T. and Quran are bulit upon the foundation of the Hebrew bible, then the resulting structures could very well fall over. If the Hebrew Bible is unreliable then how do you refer back to a Moses or a Torah or Abraham?

@DanielForkbeard Its not based on, its to correct the book before it. Jesus pbuh was sent down to reaffirm and correct the mistakes of the Torah. Lets say I sent an email to someone named Sam. Sam changes some parts of the email and shows it to everyone. Hearing this I showed everyone the original email that was sent.

The Bible was supposed to correct the Torah. Instead, man changed it. The Qur'an was sent down to correct the followers of these two faiths.

@SkullMech Just saying a thing--even repeatedly or insistently--does not make it so. You cannot demonstrate logically that the Torah has been altered by man. Also, Jesus of Nazareth never said that there were mistakes in the Torah--in fact he said not the smallest letter or piece of a letter from the Torah would pass away--not until heaven and earth passed away. Using your reasoning I could say that the Quran was corrupted by man and the book of Mormon was sent to correct it. Absurd!

You can find the original quran and the language used today is exactly the same to that of the original manuscript. The quran isn't corrupted.

@SkullMech No Jesus came to fulfill the law and the prophecies concerning the messiah. Islam is just the spirit of antichrist that we were warned that would come. Those who deny Jesus is God with us Isaiah 9:6 or that he was crusified are antichrist. Islam will bring about the 7 year reign of antichrist which you all believe is your savior... the Mahdi and your Jesus. He is not our Jesus.

I'm sorry if any Christian in the past has wronged you in any way and I pray that they will see their faults and that you would do as your God would like and forgive your enemy. It is true that many versions of the Bible exist. But this is because the Bible, unlike the Qu'ran, is a collection of different books by different people. Also, the Bible was written over multiple time periods.

Quite true, to my knowledge we do not have a Qur'anic manuscript from the Prophet's time (or penned by his scribe(s)), however what we do have are Qur'ans that are dated to the 1st century Hijri-- meaning within 100 years of the Prophet's time. That is very, very different from over a MILLENNIUM of missing manuscripts for the Book of Isaiah, the Book of Numbers, The Song of Solomon, Genesis, and on and on. No offence intended-- these are just the plain facts.

I thought that after the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls no one would continue to question whether or not the Hebrew had been corrupted. Also, do Muslims claim to have the original Koran--penned by Muhammad himself? Not that that would mean it was true--of course. The Dead Sea Scrolls still leave more than a MILLENNIUM (1000 years) of absolutely no manuscript tradition for the Hebrew Bible. If Moses wrote the Torah about 1500 years ago and then the earliest manuscripts of the Torah are from around 500 C.E. (or whatever), then we are left with 1000 years of no written evidence or manuscript tradition for the Hebrew Bible.

what is original sin? is it sinful to have desires? every man has desires..only those who can control it and use it wisely is seemed better than the other. a child born is free from any sin..i dont see how people look at a child full of sins. they only have the desires to eat, drink..is that sinful?

@cryctalite08 Yes, drinking is a sin actually. :P But I know what you mean; I whole heartedly agree that Islam's view of "each human will be burdened and rewarded for its own sins" is the only fair view. And the only view that actually makes logical sense (why would it be fair for me to pick up sins for something that adam/eve did? And why would I be free of sin just because some person died, when millions of other people have died more painful deaths [hypothetically speaking of course]).

With all due respect, I had a little bit of trouble understanding what you're asking, so I'll try to reply to it as well as I can.

I agree that many muslims don't follow their religion and still drink beer. This means they're not following their religion; not that the religion is allowing it. Here's where I got confused. I said that the only fair view is that a person should be burdened and rewarded for its own sin/deeds. You said that's not fair, but.. that it is fair.

But Jesus took not only your sins but that of the whole world. He was crucified and three days later He rose again, thus prooving He is indeed the Son of God.
