i remember this happening i did live in hugo but i did when i was little and now i live here again and it was so sad to hear about what happened!

it was very scarey i was in chisago county though (luckly) at that time i was in Forest Lake (which is directly the first town you see if you travel north if Hugo)

This must have been when the storm was hitting Coon Rapids... We had a funnel go up and down like, 10 times, and then it moved onto Hugo... It was so frightening.. I work at the Texas Roadhouse, and it's NEVER quiet in there, but when that storm was hitting, It was dead silent. All you could hear was the music and the Hail.. And people were asking ME where they could run to if it became a full fledged Tornado... It was really scary.

yeah, i was in my car on the BR when this hit. the wind was atleast 60mph and i was prob 2 miles away from it

It was in Hugo, MN during Memorial Day weekend last year, I think. If this is the tornado I think it is.

This tornado went over my house and hit me. Wood went in my body and i was in the emergency room for surgery for 3.5 weeks

I was in a Dairy Queen in Cokato, MN when the forming of the cloud went over us. I was at the go-kart track there, i race there btw, and during the trophy presentation a track owner told us all to hurry up and leave. the sirens for the torando blared when i was in the DQ. it was better then headin back up to brainerd =P

the rotation at the 1:25 mark is just scud, the tornado will be found at the back end of the storm. You saw an "SLC" a Scary Looking Cloud

I was in Edina where it was sunny and awesome. It didn't rain at all where I was.

I was in Andover when it hit Hugo. I came down from Duluth at about 11am and waited for the action. It was impossible to see the rotation because it was so rain wrapped. These PDS watches shouldn't be taken lightly as we can all see.

Nice video. I started watching the videos from the storm chasers, but I've found the videos from residents in Tornado areas to be just as exciting. I'm sure it can be a pain in the arse, but I can imagine I would find it just as exciting as you guys seem. Great Video, stay safe, and God bless

That storm came over Anoka and I actually got a video of the funnel cloud as it came over. I didn't realize it was there until later. Then it touched down along 242 and kept going towards hugo.

Hugo, Minnesota. My sister (where this vid was taken from) lives on 170th street. 165th street and south got hit.

That was a funnel at 3:00.

Actually, a Pilot friend for Alaska Airlines said I have the funnel on tape at the 2:34mark, (left side of the screen) but panned away from it.
